Does anyone have a region they know is allowing log in? The blog says "some" regions are having problems. Is there one that is actually working?

They updated to say that if the last region you were logged into was in Dallas, you're hosed

That probably assumes most people will re-log in the same region - can someone who is in tell us where they got in?

You mean maybe the server? The last region was Naberrie but I have tried several.

Yeah, regions are hosted on servers.

Is there some kind of handoff that has to be done from the last region you were in, even with a fresh login to another spot? That seems to be what they are hinting at :/

I don't now if there is a region that allows logins..........I got spammed by a notecard giver and logged out to stop it. Logged back in and it still was spammng me so I waited and waited for the arrows to stop pulsating then discarded them all......took about 15 mns. Then I couldn't get anything in my inventory to show up so I logged again. And then couldn't get in at all. Did the uninstall/reinstall trick with the deletion of the SL folders in my user settings. I was thinking the spamming caused my problems.....guess not.

Wonder where I will land when I do log back in?

There's supposed to be a handoff - but if the network has collapsed between the two - then the handoff won't work

That's why we need the name of a working region - then we can get in on the other side.

Hahne and Kara are both SF-based full water sims, but log-ins are slow regardless of where you logged off (and once you're in you're Ruth'ed).

(And on cue after submitting I got in looking like myself. Yay

)

I cant get in at all...

I get the usual "Logging In" Message but thats where it stops. Even when I was online today people were complaining about being 'ruthed' long before LL posted the network issues problem

EDIT: Just got in, after trying for about 6 times =s

I can get into Bear but can't find another sim to TP to that is live.

EDIT: TP's working again for me. Sims seem to be recovering.

I have had bad logins before. But in more than one year time, this is the worst that I've ever seen. Something is really burnt over there...

Edit: I managed to reach my home- Blackmount seems to be somewhere else, not Dallas, then....

I finally got in, but couldn't move without bogging down, packet loss out the wazoo, couldn't TP, couldn't delete a prim (though I could rez one).
