Sorry, folks, but have to ask this as getting no response from our friendly neighbourhood Lindens. I came on yesterday to find about 150 prims worth of junk on my land. A mix of 1-prim bullets and 15-prim scripted bump bears. Pretty much maxed out the remaining prim allowance. ARed the buggers. The question is can I now return all this junk or will I be cleaning up the crime scene? And how the hell do these guys do this when the land is set for no object entry, no building and no scripting except for group members.
Anybody want a cute red teddy bear?

Anybody want a cute red teddy bear? Don't wait. Check the objects for the owner to get their names, ban them from the land and delete or return the objects. Problem solved. As far as how they got there...dunno.

yw. Yeah LL will take a while to respond and objects get left all over every day. It's better for us to do our own litter patrol. Maybe then they can spend more time ridding the grid of bigger problem makers.

From: Kattharina Carter ...autoreturn... makes sense, except you could also be returning stuff you actually want there, especially if the land is group owned and not all objects are set to group

All the group members are working on something pretty much all the time and none of it is group owned. Still it's fun returning 89 items to someone, and 57 to his mate. Sorry guys, no cute teddy bears left. There is however a pair panties hanging in a tree that won't go away.

Go into About Land, and on the Objects tab, click the 'Refresh List' button... then click the guy's name in the list and click the 'Return objects...' button?

@ Day : I don't think Chas was asking how to get rid of them, I think he was wondering whether it was okay to remove the evidence @ Chas : Things don't have to be deeded to group, just set to group AFAIK, but items owned by others and not set to group would be returned. Glad you got rid of the stuff. Panties???????

I'm down to two prims that I can't seem t'find. Mari

Mari About Land>objects>refresh list>highlight offending person's name>return the two prims. If they don't show up they could be ghost prims and require a support ticket.

Also, Control-Alt-Shift-5 (toggling rendering of Surface Patch from Client debug menu) can uncover long-buried treasures.

Thanks everyone. Given that the Lindens probably only investigate a fraction of the ARs they get - and whio can blame them (weeeellll....) - sent all the lovely prims back to owners.
Still wondering about these panties with a crab motief and a big B printed on the back.

I had some doofus build on some land of mine that I had made sure the permissions were for Group Only. Only thing I can think of in my case was that the setting reverted back to default. You can also go to wireframe to find missing objects and a friend told me once to go to the center of your sim, at the zero co-ordinates. Sim centers can sometimes attract all kinds of stuff. She pulled out lost objects by using wireframe to more easily see underground. Hope that helps.
