I get Login Failed when I try to log in today, but I note 40,000 are on line.
Is it just me as nothing on Blog.

I just relogged as I had a failed transaction and cleared my cache, but tried to get back in and got login failed also. |

maybe it has something to do with the rolling restarts for the server patch...

I was in a region a half hour ago that had the "restarting in five minutes" message.
I logged out from that, tried to log back in a few minutes later, and was dumped in a "nearby" region with probably hundreds of avatars who had been dumped there from other regions. I logged out from that, and then had the login failures for a while. I got back in maybe ten minutes ago or so, and not only is the region I was in a half hour ago still not there, when I look at the map, I see a bunch of regions offline. I have to wonder if there is some sort of huge "oops" moment happening. Regions are generally only down for a few minutes during rolling restarts. |

report the downed region... the blog says if it is still down after a specific amount of time, I think it said 20 minutes, to report it

All the time I was set at "My Last Location", so if it was a single region fault it was cleared ok when I finally got in.

I am getting a 'your account will not be avaliable until 2008-04-11 00:13:58' message.
It is now 03:55. Submitted ticket. Response: * Due to recent issues with our upstream provider we have had troubles when removing avatars from certain regions, this has caused a great deal of residents to be trapped inworld preventing them from logging back in, and has also affected teleports and object transfers. Our blog is soon to be updated to reflect this and our technical team is currently working to resolve the issue. Could you please refer to our blog (blog.secondlife.com) for updates on a resolution and if you give 30 minutes before log in attempts you may be able to successfully log in. Unfortunately as this affects many of our residents we cannot resove this on a case by case basis but you can rest assured we are working on the issue. If however you are still having issues after 24 hours then please re-open this ticket. We thank you for your patience and apologise for the inconvenience. * Posted in case anyone else here is getting this. |

Same problem here, it's getting old fast. Blog says it's all clear now, but I'm still having the same issue. Might say it is clear, but it is not. My log in fails and it gives me a message I can't untill 18 hours as past, that's 04-30 SL time. Love June |

Yes, I was going to say, it shows resolved, but we still can't log in. I still can't, 'phoned a friend and got them to try and they got in! So it is some and not all failing. I can't get in either... again.
Now look, LL, this just isn't on. My house is really clean, all the ironing is done, it's dark so I can't mow the lawn, our local pub is closed for a refit, the friends who live closest to me are on hols, all my emails are answered, all my free minutes are used up on my mobile.... PLEASE don't make me watch the telly. I live in Ireland, you have no idea how shite our telly really is. I'm begging ya here...BEGGING... |
