I'm helping a friend new to SL locate a badger avatar. I've looked at the usual suspect shops and haven't found anything yet, so I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone has seen one around. One person suggested modifying a skunk avatar, since the head is similarly shaped, so that's one option.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

The only place I've seen a badger avatar is a tiny badger av at Raglan Shire....... not sure that's what your looking for, but...it's a badger!

I sometimes slip out discreetly in my Wynx Whiplash badger av. It is wonderful - more American than European Badger, in my opinion. I've snapped the ankles of a few folk who mistook me for a beaver.

They are proper Victorian badgers, unlike their wayward cousins who appear in the all together in internet videos. The noses and ears twitch, and I used sculpted prim animation to make the mouth move when chatting. Nix Sands did the boy's outfit, and is in the process of making a nicer dress for the girl badger (let us be kind and call my effort a "placeholder"    If anyone has any questions about when these are going to be available, or when the portal is opening please IM Desmond repeatedly, as he is a lonely fellow who no one ever talks to.* *edit: my tongue is firmly in cheek here _____________________

The Werehouse has a badger avatar, it's under "Other Carnivores" and then under the "Mustelid" category, I think, along with the skunk and wolverine. I think it looks pretty realistic.

Yes, those are European badgers. I was basing the look on Badger from the Wind in the Willows. American Badgers wear cowboy hats.

Yes it's part of a larger project framework, but the badger IP is theirs and theirs alone, as is the timing. If they want to give some out early it's entirely up to them. All I ask is that they are 110% happy with it being finished, and not pressured. It's part of a larger project involving a lot of incredible people. More on that will come later, in appropriate channels (probably not Resident Answers). _____________________
