Is there any way round this?

I'm owner of a group for just myself and my partner. Our parcel is deeded to the group. I have been deeding my objects to the group, but I find I can't do this with some of them as the deed box is grey and doesn't light up when I tick 'share with group'. I noticed that in these cases I must have been wearing a different group tag when I bought them.

Does this mean that I can't deed these objects to my own group, or is there some way round this that I am not aware of?

If there isn't, this is a really important rule to note: always wear your own group's tag when shopping!

(Trouble is, if I visit a store that has an update group to which I belong, I always put its tag on.)

First of all, there's no point in deeding all your stuff to a group, it messes with permissions. The only things that need to be group deeded are things that affect stuff like land controls (such as TVs)

Secondly, it doesn't matter what group tag you have on while shopping, it has no effect on the purchases after the fact.

I don't know why you're having this problem, but I can tell you what you should be doing instead of deeding: Just have the right group tag active when you rez items from inventory. They'll be "set" to the group, and therefore won't be affected by auto return.

Also, I think a group requires at least 3 members to remain in existence.

I would think that deeding to a group would require transfer permissions. You might check the perms on the items you can't deed.

@ Maya. Groups require two members.

Nope...a group just need to have 2 or more members.
