Hey, what say we all stop the petty bickering, mean-spirited replies, rule-breaking and anger for a day until a ResMod returns to the forum?
Remember, just because we're not face to face with the person we are conversing with doesn't give us free reign to be rude to each other.
I'd include sarcasm and witty retorts, but I don't want to go 24 hours without posting here.
Going to bed. Play nice folks.

I vote for this and pie?
even though there is no poll that's my vote
unless of course we are talking about steaks or something in which case flames, charcoal and fire are needed to get it past the "raw" state

It's also Remembrance Sunday in the UK when we remember and honour those who fell in the wars ... it would be nice if we could put aside the drahmaz for one day at least.

Inc And Veteran's Day tomorrow in the USA. Yeah, if people like that can fight and die for us, we can manage to be nice people for a day. Maybe we can make a habit of it

From: Lindal Kidd And Veteran's Day tomorrow in the USA. Yeah, if people like that can fight and die for us, we can manage to be nice people for a day. Maybe we can make a habit of it Yes Since the 11th is on a Sunday, we will be Remebering Tomorrow, although the whole weekend has been full of cermonies around here. I attended one yesterday honoring 2 local boys who left to serve and didn't come back. While here it is now a day to honor ALL Veterans, as we also have Memorial Day in May, it's roots are of course in the British Remeberance of the WWI dead. One of my favotite Sting songs carries this theme: "Childrens Crusade" By Sting Young men, soldiers, Nineteen Fourteen Marching through countries they'd never seen Virgins with rifles, a game of charades All for a Children's Crusade Pawns in the game are not victims of chance Strewn on the fields of Belgium and France Poppies for young men, death's bitter trade All of those young lives betrayed The children of England would never be slaves They're trapped on the wire and dying in waves The flower of England face down in the mud And stained in the blood of a whole generation Corpulent generals safe behind lines History's lessons drowned in red wine Poppies for young men, death's bitter trade All of those young lives betrayed All for a Children's Crusade The children of England would never be slaves They're trapped on the wire and dying in waves The flower of England face down in the mud And stained in the blood of a whole generation Midnight in Soho, Nineteen Eighty-four Fixing in doorways, opium slaves Poppies for young men, such bitter trade All of those young lives betrayed All for a Children's Crusade

But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Sending Zhuul love, a hug, some pansies and positive vibes. And a tangled ball of puppies and kittens. Rolling in a dewy meadow while a baby faun looks on as a butterfly lands on her spotted back just as the first snow starts to fall.

Yay! Scratch my head too? I'll try not to drool too much.
The world would be a much happier place if people spent more time petting puppies and kittens. How about this - when anyone feels like flaming other people relentlessly in the forums, just take a breather and go find a pet to play with. Unless you're allergic. Then I guess it's okay to be cranky.

No thanks. I am still in awe of anyone who can do that thing with the posts and the lines and the multiple quotes after the first one i get all confuzzled and just lump it all into one giant quote or end up pulling my hair out and being bald..

From: Wilhelm Neumann ... get all confuzzled and just lump it all into one giant quote or end up pulling my hair out and being bald.. That's actually good because bald=hawt! I just copy/paste the quote several times in the reply window and delete out the extraneous parts in each one. That's my Flame-Free Helpful Hint of the Day.
