Ahem -- Yes I do and I am now looking for beta testers -- Honeybear, you let my secret out. ;) I am putting the finishing touches on sculpted feet as we speak complete with colorable nails also and a built on shoe -- I am currently awaiting the shoe base sculpts as I have two new wedges coming. The color change/texture change was the toughest challenge. I will be choosing 10 females for beta testing, for feedback, in the next week (assuming I get the wedges this weekend) to give me feedback on design and usability



Hm, kinda like the Brat dolls? They have no feet, its all in the shoe...

Hi, something just occurred to me. When you say 'realistic feet' would you also be interested in truly realistic feet? The kind of feet that have been squeezed into ill-fitting high heels since the age of 14, with toes horribly warped and crossing over each other?

Does anyone do them?

My RL feet are very comely, thank you. Largely due to the fact that I can't wear heels over 2" for any length of time without discomfort. Drat. If I ever find a pair of 5" heels in RL that's one half as comfy as SL shoes, I will nominate them for a Nobel Prize.

*Update -- Had to make a few adjustments to the 'shoe' portion of the. As soon as they are ready for production, I will be putting some straps on them and putting them on some females :) -- Tuesday December 4th US EST I will have an app taker (Formtec) at my shoe store to enter your name -- just a formality to make sure no one gets left out and I have a list of names LMAO.

My main concern is the texture/color change and 'your' ability to work with the HUD to create a skin match and this is where I need your feedback as a tester. I will, more than likely, want to try a few things like a 'foot illuminator' etc. What do you get out of it? Um, suckable toes? hahahahaha. The testers will all get free product to use at their discretion. And you will get multiple pairs.

Let the Beta begin! Primtoes Launch this Weekend

Hello ladies and connoisseurs of feet ;)

I got my sculpts late last night and spent some time playing with the toes :)

As I had mentioned, I am going to beta this product and the beta will last for the month of December as I have travel plans and I am sure you will too.

I look to hand out the prototypes on Sunday. This message will also post to the Exchange.

Focus of the Beta:

I am going to hand out pairs of my feet/shoes to 10-15 female participants and create panel of testers. I look for you to provide me with feedback and tips to try and make this product better. In exchange, you get feets :) You also get new styles as they become available. I will more than likely pass out two styles initially. One is an angled foot with wedge attached and the other is a more flat version of the foot. That is to be determined over the weekend. Initially, I will keep it simple and create some flip flops.

My area of concern is skin matching. Because of the way light interacts with avatars and prims, there is always going to be a difference although through the manual color change spectrum, I have managed to get a really close match.

The shoes will come with a color/texture change HUD which will control the the textures applied to the foot or nails(yes you can change nail color) and tint individually.

Who i need on the panel -- I am looking for a mix of ladies from creators to consumers to represent a dichotomy of the SL market. Creators, texture artists,clothing designers, shoppers -- the whole gambit.

Profile me inworld and go to Shoe Fly Shoes located on the Sofa King Campus in Tentacle. On the first floor, you will find a formtec application taker where I put in a few questions just so I make a list of applicants. Those of you whom have shown interest initially are already shoe-ins(hahaha I kill me)but please make it a point to drop by. My brain needs all the help it can get.

One last thing -- one of the questions asks you how you can help me make the product better -- please just jot down a couple of your SL talents - ie textures, scripting etc -- And don't be afraid to put shopper!!!

Hey, this is good news...I guess. LOL...my company name is 'barefoot designs' and I am always running around..barefoot. But I had the same issue, avvie feet are not very good. The skin I have came with feet that don't look to bad, but could be better. Problem is, most items like this are geared for the ladies, so I hope this will work for us guys too. A lot of us guys like running around barefoot too ya know.

Thanks for the inquiry Jeremy -- perhaps we can give it a try and see if it can work -- the feet look pretty much asexual at the moment cept when you color the nails -- contact me inworld.
