Help I can not get my Avatar to wear skirts. Seperate prim ones attach with no problem but Skirts as articles of clothing dissapear as soon as I wear them. When I go to edit appearance they reappear but as soon as I close the editing window they vanish again. I have tried reloading second life but it doesn't help.

Best response to this I have heard yet! I am tired of baking - let's just proclaim it no skirts across the Metaverse and be done with it.

There was a Jira on this. VWR-0987 Skirts staying visible. I want to see them butts! Please remove skirts. : This issue has been resolved.

Due to Asset Server problems, avoid in world transactions including rezzing items from inventory.

I've had to rebake several times to make some of my skirts visible. But this isn't the case with most of them. Only once a skirt I was wearing disappeared while I was at a dance. (And yes, I had panties on). And of all places it was at,, "FLASHDANCE". Perfect name for the situation! teehee.

Hey,, they way I look at it, this just adds another layer to the adventure of SL!! giggle

I too have skirt issues, ALL of my skirts (the purple icon) dissapear. if this isn't going to be fixed, I want all of my money back 4 all the outfits.....UGH it stinks!

It is a problem with the viewer. It will be fixed in the next viewer.

It's a problem for guys, too. At least, it is for those of us who occasionally wear jackets. The bottom of most jackets is a "skirt," and the bug affects them the same way.

I get this problem sometimes. Sometimes one has to rebake 3 or 4 times and the skirt takes ages to rez, but I've found they always appear correctly in the end. Except for that brief time after one of the updates when skirts didn't work at all.
