Being harassed but no one will respond to my abuse reports

This guy has been dumping cars and planes on my house and I reported every single one and NOTHING is being done about it. Do I really have to just put up with this?
I put so much time and effort into my home and this is really upsetting me. I don't even know him.

If you own the land, change your parcel settings to no build/no object entry. If you rent, speak to your landlord.

if you own the land, ban him

If you don't, go to the landowner and explain, and ask them to ban him

when you ar him, make sure you complete the report fully with as much information as possible

If you own the land then disable everyone's ability to rez objects. and or set auto return on 1 minute so it stays clean .
If this is a private region then report the person to the estate manager

Unclear, do you own the land?

Right, what everyone says. I wish people would take initiatives and learn how to prevent these type of things before filing a bunch of unnecessary A/Rs and clogging up the system.

No I don't own the land, and I don't see it as un needed. He's making my time in sl very very annoying for no reason. I don't even know him he's just picking on me for some reason.

dang it sounds like you are renting, and this is a holiday in US, your landlord might be away. If you can set your land no create/no entry and autoreturn like ppl suggested above, it might be all you can do for now :(

got a slurl? I wanna come see, maybe an extra AR will help you lol

I'm sorry, I know it can be frustrating/annoying when people leave junk on your land. If you don't own it, maybe your landlord should have turned on auto-return. I know it may seem like you're being picked on, but I find that sometimes people just rez junk because they can! Not really malicious, just rude :P

Since you are renting, if you do not have eject and ban privileges, talk to you landlord about that as soon as you get a chance. Even renters should be able to eject the jerks.

Even is he is ejected and banned from your parcel, if he can get close enough and the land has the right permissions, he can still toss things onto your parcel -- you'll have to talk to your landlord about that also.

I visited the parcel. There's nothing she can do. Since the OP doesn't have an obvious lm trail to the parcel, I will risk saying:

Free rent, all objects returned once a week (10,000 minute auto return), anyone can rez whatever they like. All units are on one big parcel. No permissions to the "renter".

There is no free lunch.

Sadly, the reason is "because he can."

You live in what amounts to a sandbox. Looks like that guy has as much right to rez his vehicles there as you do to rez a house.

If it's only been happening today, no responses aren't all that unusual. Owner of the land may be in a different timezone and working or sleeping in RL. The Lindens will get to your reports when they can, it's rarely instantaneous.
Unfortunately, you'll probably just have to put up with it, for the time being.

Sounds like he may be trying to push you out of your free rent spot.

I wonder if your landlord will care.

That said, there are many reasonably priced places that will actually give a damn and wouldn't let that stuff happen.

If he is harassing you by rezzing stuff on top of you then it is abuse no matter where you are. You are right to AR him and its not good that youre not being helped.

What a strange arrangement. Presumably the landlord thinks s/he's doing some service by making the land available for free, but this is kind of the inevitable outcome of that. A predestined "tragedy of the private commons" of a sort.

To the OP: in the long run, this is not a viable arrangement for you. I'd strongly recommend seeking another place to live. And yeah, you'll probably have to pay a little rent for a better situation.

I just have to wonder what LL thinks about this. I mean, this one parcel could create a steady stream of ARs for them to process, just because the owner refuses to do anything sensible with land controls. Indeed, how does LL even know to take seriously the complaints of the "renters"--who officially have no more right to rez stuff on the parcel than do the griefers? (As if G-Team's job weren't already impossible...)

It may not work but try clicking on the objects and looking if you have the 'return' option....

Thanks for all your replies. I think the best thing to do is look at a place more perminant and rentable. Does anyone have any favourite places? My budget would be around 200 a week and I don't need much space, just an apartment. I like the community of the sim more than the size of home.

if you have a premium membership buy yourself 512 sq m of land...lands cheap and youre allowed that much free of tier if you have membership. Better than paying rent every week

It would be up to the actual land owner to do anything.

Your ARs would just be clogging up the system potentially preventing people who are ACTUALLY being harassed from being helped.
