I logged in briefly tonight, only to see myself basically folded in half with my head up my butt..now, i have TP'ed only to have my shoes and hair end up my butt, but ( no pun intended) this is the first time my head was up there.. has this happened to anyone else? I relogged, but still had the same thing...

I haven't had that happen in a long time. It use to happen fairly frequently. The only thing I know of to fix it is a relog.

There actually is an animation that will do this to you also - I saw it at the Hangout. Make sure you do not have anything unusual attached.

Oh, the fun of SL. Hasn't happened to me for a while, but it does happen and does stress the need for good hygiene. I feel better knowing it HAS happened to others..going to try getting back in, I have a little building to do it seems. ( I KNEW something was missing..a shower!) _____________________

Ooh, is it that time of year again? The time of year where we get unsubtle reminds of how LL looks at the world around it?
I hadn't noticed it, but then my time is kinda limited at the moment. I always thought it was due to some 'glitch' in the system that processes AO commands that results in the head up the butt. Good news is that at least you'll find your shoe and hair there too! _____________________

What is it with viewer releases and LL code such that we keep having the same bugs come back again and again and again? I swear that my users would kill me if we allowed that where I work. There is this thing called 'regression testing' - DUH !!! I used to manage a bunch of software developers. Programmers are the sneakiest, most independent bunch of cusses outside of an 1849 mining camp. The only thing I can think of is that the coders keep copies of modules in their personal stash, and use them, instead of the released code, to develop new functions. LL seriously needs to start cracking the whip in the configuration management arena. _____________________

Yes it's back with a vengance..after logging out for a couple hours last night, I logged back in to find myself once again with my head up my arse..and as instructed * laughs* I attempted to take a picture... when I brought the picture back into SL, it was blank.. now, either I have the worst luck ever, OR my computer is possesed. Either way, if anyone needs me I will be under my desk in the fetal position... _____________________
