Unpaid can post here - they just have to file payment info. Doesn't have to be used payment info.

i agree we should only be aloud to post if we have payment info on file.

but they should at least open the forums up for people who have not signed up yet to read. as i found that very frustrating when i was first learning about SL befor i actually played it. to get on the forums you need and account and to have been inworld at least once with said account. bad idea for people who want to learn more about the world befor downloading the client

waitaminit peeps! this is a legit question!

My feeling is that the forums should be open to all residents to read (which they are not now). However, I think today's policy saying that only those who have payment info on file (not premium, just payment on file) can post, is a good one.

Everyone should be allowed to read here..IMHO...posting,,,,welll without a MODERATOR to keep an eye on it...pay on file or whatever they call it is the next best thing. Keeps the griefing down I guess, or at least makes it more trackable....but then...Forum and in-world are two different things

No, they can't - that's the point. I support the idea that posting should continue to require payment info on file, but reading should certainly be opened to all - there's a wealth of useful information that so many are missing out on.

The unwashed masses can post - by putting payment info on file. It is the work of a moment and is open to everyone. Anyone who does not have any payment info to provide is either under 18, and thus not welcome anyway, or a gypsy - and I thought Stalin sorted them out years ago.
