the amount of primitives allowed on a piece of land? Any work around or item I can purchase to help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Buy more land. But then you will be caught up in the never ending hunt for more land to feed the prim habit you will develop.

Just say no to Prims.

You can buy more land in the same sim. It doesn't have to be touching the land you already have.

There are devices with workarounds using temporary rezzes that repeat rapidly so they seem contiuous, but they all appear to have significant flaws. Sometimes you can rent additional prims from a landlord, or you can buy additional land in a sim that gives you more prims to work with.

The simplest way to buy more land in the same region.

I believe there are patches you can stick on your arm, tablets, gum. Hypnosis too. Don't know how well they work though. Best thing might be a total detox.

How about this. Since attachments don't count to the total prim count why not attach parts of your house to yourself and then sit down somewhere and not move. You can pay me later for thinking up such a wonderful idea... :)

sure, could stick it to your butt.. every other attachment ends up there anyways, might as well keep the house there as well. Actually the more I think about it the more I like this idea.. I'll make a furniture line that attaches to yer arse and peeps can just wear it and sit whereever and whenever they take a notion;)

I'll be sure and credit you as an inspiration:D

Yes, only buying more land is your solution. Just to re-iterate, the land has to be in the SAME sim! Prims are NOT transferable between sims.

IMAGINE the land sales if SL upgraded that and made ALL land ownership prim transferable.

no copy, just transfer. LOL

Apologies for ressurecting an old thread and I realise I should know things like this by now but so far I don't wear prim attachments, well, apart from a single prim earring I got as a freebie on day one.

Could someone clarify in what sense attachments don't count towards prim count? I'm guessing that they don't count in terms of a land parcel but do towards the total prim count in a Sim? If so, what happens if a prim-heavy AV enters a Sim & takes the count over the total? Does stuff get returned to owners, and how does SL prioritise which stuff?

Attachments don't contribute to sim prim counts, but they do contribute to lag.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Worn or attached prims have no effect on the prim count for the parcel or the sim.

As long as the thread is back anyway... 16's are really something like 3.66 prims... so if you add two of them, you get a whopping *7* prims. (See, now this is the service provided your sim by its adfarmers: they magically "disappear" one prim for every two adplots. And yet people say they have no sense of community! )

Although worn prims do not count towards the allocation for prims that can be rezzed on the sim (normally 15 000), you still do not get something for nothing. Those prims do count towards use of sim resources (and if the sim is fully using the prim, then there will be lag).

My understanding is that there is an "overflow" beyond 15 000 prims of about ten per cent (1500 prims ish) that are used for temporary prims (those worn or those conjured up by temp prim-rezzers).
