I'm looking to re do my avatar, since it's been quiet awhile,

Moneys not an issue.

Where would be the very best places to go?

i like body politik, although thats not where mine came from, my shape i made myself, and my skin is from....ummmmm. i forget. pheonix maybe?

Just being in SL for a few days I've learned I hate most shapes probably because my butt is huge. Create your own Shape its not that hard and very inexpensive. However the skins in SL are amazing

as for shapes, make your own, easy and better............ohh and gravity is your friend in SL as far as boobies are concerned.

Hi Nyx,

For skins I have been thrilled with ARS NOVA and Celestial Studios.....I've also found some great ones at Skin Within. And I have to agree with 'make your own shape' philosophy. It takes a bit of time to get used to the sliders.....but it's much more rewarding to come up with your own unique 'you'. I've got some freebie shapes at my shop, House of Body, which are all copy modify.....It often helps to have some kind of starting point and work from there.

But....one thing I will suggest, choose a skin you love....then work on your shape while wearing that skin so you can create a look that best enhances the skin. When I do custom work for folks, that's how I do it....I look for the skin that closest fits the person I'm trying to duplicate.....then I wear that skin while editing the shape. Once you get used to doing it....it's really fun, like sculpture.

I like Strange Behaviour, kind of "strange" skins and clothes there.
