I had not thought of that, Mickey. My land description does list brands and it is in Search.
I've decided that if designers want to get pissy, then so be it, but I'm leaving the rest of the stuff priced as is. If an item doesn't sell after a bit, I'll lower the price then. When putting out more boxes, I'll continue pricing them as I have been. And I'm not going to remove the brand names from the land description - it does say, at the very beginning of the description "YARD SALE". If some designer wants to ban me from their stores, it will be much more there loss than mine given the amount of money I spend in these places.

Here's what I told them (more or less - maybe in different words)...... 1) I have bought a zillion products from you. Surely you have noticed in your transaction list, every week. I'm not aware that you noticed, though....because not once did you ever say "thank you" after I went on spree after spree in your store. 2) I have phrased the ad to read...."High Quality items such as Famous Freddy...." - - - which is a compliment to you. 3) It was not a malicious ploy (as you suggested in your rather dramatic cease and desist memo) to ruin your business.... it was simply a way to sell inventory effectively, so that I may come back and purchase MORE from you. I did not change the wording of the land description, and I never shopped in that store again. Plus, I lost all respect for that creator and their business, and halted all referrals to them (which was a lot).....so it cost them much more than a resale of two or three items....just like it is going to cost the creator who contacted you, and more or less accused you of scamming, from the get-go.

nothing wrong with your pricing, Lil. if someone sells something transferable at L$10 and you buy ten of them and sell them at a higher price, then so what? capitalism is capitalism.

set it for what you want.
I am in the process of trying to gather my 4+ years of stuff to sell since I wear only about 2 different outfits, and all the furniture and beds and... what a pain to do I have been trying to figure out how to even price items (as I can't remember what I paid for everything big ticket items I try and go see what they sell for now and cut it in half) and others what I think they will fetch if I don't get that I plan on lowering till they are gone (some 60,000 items to go through removing the freebies and things I do want that I forgot about! lol) will take me 4 years to even get the stuff out in boxes!

From: Distilled1 Rush (some 60,000 items to go through removing the freebies and things I do want that I forgot about! lol) will take me 4 years to even get the stuff out in boxes! *chuckles and contemplates her MUCH LARGER inventory. I has taken me weeks to get roughly 600-700 items out, mostly because many needed boxing or reboxing. I do not use the original boxes if the are no-mod and too large or small to fit well with my other boxes. One of my goals is to get as much space usage as possible out of the area, so I really do not want a bunch of boxes that are extremely variable in sizes. And of course, during those weeks of shopping, I could not resist my shopaholic urges and so I really have not decreased my overall inventory size much, but I have kept it from growing as rapidly.

That antagonistic part of me considered going to her outlet and not only picking up anything I wanted for myself, but also buying up many copies of all of the stuff there and adding it to the yard sale, at a larger price of course.

From: LittleMe Jewell Wow - never thought of it from that angle. I can definitely see how it could work as free advertising and help drive more traffic to you. That's how I found some of my fave shops that I still frequent today, but picking up a sample as a freebie at some freebie place then finding the creator's profile and going to their shop to actually 'shop'. I kind of thought that was the whole point of all the freebies on the grid, the hopes of getting real customers.
