From: Ziggy Puff Some people seem to use it and like it. This gets my vote for the understatement of the year, so far. Ziggy, I use ZHAO II which I have loaded up with the animations that I want. I have different configurations, depending on what mood I am in, and I just love it. I don't have a ton of patience with complicated stuff that I don't get pretty much right away, but I managed to build exactly what I wanted. Thank you for building something like this. Considering how widespread the use of it is, I'm not surprised that you get a few idiots who can't be bothered to read anything, and just fire away at any name they can find. The perils of doing something good, huh? Good luck with your future ventures!

The people who can't figure out how to work ZHAO are the same people who can't figure out what to do with a notecard named "READ ME".

This is the problem with Open Source products in SL. People want support but the people now selling that Open Source product often times offer very little support. if any at all.
Crystalshard Foo created FreeView, which is used and sold everywhere - but she made it Open Source - and to this day she get's IMs from people complaining that the T.V. they bought does not work, or they are asking customer support questions instead of going back to the place they got it from.

From: Ziggy Puff The problem is, the ZHAO object shows me as the creator, and some people don't understand the distinction between the AO and the animations within it. People don't realize that they did not buy their AO from me, and come to me for help/refunds/replacements/etc. A dozen a day! Geesh you must have some patience, I get grumpy with one or two requests a month from people who don't understand that the person they purchased from rents land from me and that I'm neither the creator or the store owner. I'm not grumpy to the customer, but a dozen a day would test me sorely. I hope you get the support you deserve.

I also want to chime in and say thank you for the ZHAO AO, I love love love it. Its easy to set up and I love being able to change my animations depending on my mood. For all those idiots complaining, there are far more who get it and love your product, you just never hear form us.

It seems like every AO I buy, they all use ZHAO, so it is probably the most popular product on SL ^^ There also seems to be two versions of the ZHAO (not sure if it's just the difference in I and II), the "newer" ZHAO seems to allow more animations per category; all you have to do is add the animation name separated by a vertical line in a horizontal chain. The "older" version seems to cap the animation amount to 5 per category, when exceeded the excess animations would be "shifted" onto the next category and the whole thing would be messed up. This could be where a lot of the confusion came from, I for one asked around for help on this since my Discord AO has this older script, but still got no real answer on how to fix it other than "simply transfer all animations onto the newer script".

Suki,
I don't know where you got the idea you "simply transfer all animations onto the newer script". You move the anims into the new object, and you also have to convert the notecard from original ZHAO format to ZHAO-II format. There's a converter to do this.
I'll drop one on you next time I'm ingame. I thought it came with Ziggy's standard ZHAO-II distribution, but perhaps I got it elsewhere.
With the converter, you just rez it, drop the old notecard into the it, and it chats a bunch of lines that you copy and paste into a new notecard, which you drop into ZHAO-II.
