For me Sl is a game.

But........

Music ( My Profession) is also a game.

Family life......is also a game. ( A bizarre one with only Half understood rules)

I Love Games, for me Life is a game.

When I play games, I prefer to play them with sincerity, imagination, artistry, compassion, humour, a rebelious soul, a competitive spirit, and a sense of wonder.

Game is a sematically loaded term as has been pointed out.

To some it carries the connotation of a triviality, for me it is a profound exploration, a process of discovery, like a giant Meteorite on the Back of an eagle pushing a pram with dollies in it...........but the dollies mouths have been sewn up...................................um...............coughs............. Blinks.........

Damnit.......I have lost my train of thought now................

Anyway........ Games are Kewl

SL is whatever you want to make it and to me its a "thingy" as its still trying to figure out exactly what it is itself (its growing etc)

I dont take it serioulsly and I call it a game from time to time, but its definately a thingy and that's that

Also if its not a game to you call it whatever you like i doubt anyone will mind or care. As they say "your world your imagination" so give it whatever name you like and run with it ^^
