Massive thread on that item already on page 1, ED.

It's the nature of these things that the worst cases always make lurid headlines, but in other threads we've also been told of many other people with long lasting, solid relationships. So there -are- also some happy ever after stories out there.

Two friends of my partner were having their 3rd virtual anniversary the other day. :)

There's no such thing as a 'virtual' relationship. Or at least, nothing to truly delineate it from a 'real' one. Both only exist in the brains of the participants. :)

Have to wash the sheets more often with a RL relationship though.

The only thing missing from that story are the bunnies boiling on the stove.

Rika, if nothing delineates the separation of "realities", then does the brick that fell on my foot only break my toes in my mind?

If every good working RL meeting would make it in to the papers, I'd be famous.

What a whiner that guy is; my sweetie got quite used to the duct tape after awhile and we are just so very very happy now.

Really, sometimes a gal just has to go after the man of her dreams. Relationships are far too important to leave up to men!

Did it start falling in your mind? Then yes.

Or do you only start to love someone with your sexual organs, but not your brain?

It seems that these people met through SL but the subsequent behaviour is not really the fault of SL. If they'd met at a bus stop would that reflect badly on the bus company?

Doesn't stop people from suing the bus company, so I suspect yes, it would not do the bus company any good. :)
