File a support ticket and you are told to AR them .... against what their own land manager said. Tell them that and they ignore the ticket. *sigh*

From: Void Singer gambling is banned too, to satisfy credit card company agreeements about online gambling. Gambling is not banned. It is now called Zyngo, and only one person has clear authorization to sell gambling machines. My theory? Gambling was GOMd, but it was called a "ban".

Wow! Can I get in your time machine and become a land baroness?  Let's see... People can join without providing any payment information, so a lot of people have more than one avatar account. There are no lifetime memberships on offer any more. Philip L. left the company. People can talk on voice. A new continent named Zindra opened up and you're supposed to do the sexxors only there, unless it's in your own private home and on mature land. (Doesn't stop two of my neighbors having sex beds on PG land, though!) Marketing and shopping are big, with some real life companies having joined SL (and left again) and some residents' brands becoming huge within the game. LL has been sued recently for not doing more to stop copyright infringements on in-world products. I think that's the major stuff. Thought of a few more: Stipends are only 300 a week now for premium members (except those who are grandfathered in at higher amounts.) Carl Metropolitan left NCI. Blogging is popular now, with fashion blogs, and just bloggy blogs. There are other, unofficial SL forums too. (SL pix are also big in flickrs.)
