Kissing Issues

Sorry, another noobie question.

Now I am not the smallest in SL, and the two chaps I have wanted to kiss were rather tall.
But, each time, I accepted the kiss, I ended up kissing their chests
Rather than carrying a crate around with me to stand on, what am I doing wrong. Any advice welcome, be it serious or funny

Hope I have posted this in the right place?

Sadly, not a lot really. I have the opposite problem. Bought a non-mod shape that's about 14ft tall. Not sure if it's possible to edit the animation, but I'm sure someone out there does ....

I've given up on the kissing animation, it's just too daft to be honest. There's poseballs out there that work a lot better, but that's not really a solution.

Well, most avatars male or female are too tall. I at first made my avatar at about 5ft 9"/10", but men towered over me, even most women, so I just made myself taller, about 6ft 7" now.

This is a big problem for me - I'm only 5'2" in my shoes in SL (in RL too!). It's surely something which could potentially cut a budding romance off, if using poseballs is that important. I know, for me, I enjoy the visuals, in addition to the wordplay, it adds a huge amount to the scene.

When you're with someone just casually, perhaps it doesn't matter as much. But, I've found when you really care for someone, when it's more than a pickup (hehe) this issue of positioning, of not being able to reach can surely be a mood killer. Dancing is a problem too - my feet don't touch the floor and I'm floating in air!

So, I normally gravitate to shorter avs my height, but sometimes have found myself in the opposite situtation. What to do?

Perhaps, compromise is necessary? Finding poseballs which are seated ones instead of standing positions might help. I know there are several nice ones where you are on the mans/womens (insert gender, furry, alien, etc.) lap, which are really lovely for instance.

Of course, we won't even go into the problem of sex with the difference in height. This can make for some really funny or unsatisfying situations, depending on your viewpoint/frame of mind .

My chest is available for kissing especially my nip...

M&P has a kiss HUD designed for dealing with reasonable differences in AV height. It can't help with 1m+ differences, but looks interesting otherwise.

Other solution: wear tall heels.

At least chest kissing is somewhat more romantic than hugging someone and having them sink a hand right through your thorasic cavity and massage your lungs

Lip kiss would be good instead of nip kiss, saying that errrrr........

Most hug or kiss sets or hug/kiss attachements have to assume both avatars are roughly the same height. With a hug or kiss attachment you also usually need to make sure both avatars are facing each other when the offer is made, or else one or both of you will be at an odd angle during the animation.

There *was* a merchant at one point who made a hug poseball set and a kiss poseball set *specificly* for those couples who had a large height difference. For the hug, the larger person dropped to their knees, and for the kiss, the larger person picked the smaller one up off the ground. But the hysteria over 'virtual kiddy porn' caused him to close up shop, or at least to stop advertizing. I rather like that pair of pose ball sets, as it is the only way my 5'7" avatar can share a hug or a kiss with a 7 foot plus male friend of mine. He and I both have those 'big and little' sets, for that very reason. It's also the only decent way that my roleplay daughter, who is 4'2" tall, can share a hug or kiss with her mommy.

I am 5'7" in RL as well as SL, and the two chaps were at least 6'6". No chance of a kiss
