I have heavy thighs, does that count?

Nope!

.. because everyone heaves heavy thighs when SL goes borky.

Here's an idea, Lets all club some money together, find someone big and menacing looking in RL who lives in the LL zip code. We can have him permanently on speed dial so as soon as we have a complaint send him to Linden Labs to sort it out. SL is down? no probs, our man will glue everyone to their chairs and threaten them with tazzers until its fixed. LL not answering your support ticket, then we'll instruct him to take that ticket machine, shove it up Philips arse until it pops out of his mouth and the 'tickets' appear in front of his nose so he cant ignore it. All vending machines will be destroyed, toilets blocked, corridors infested with snakes to stop the Lindens wandering around aimlessly draging their nuckles on the floor when they should be sat at their desks fixing SL.

Who's with me?

PORK!

I know! Why don't we all contribute the extra 20 pounds we're carrying around to a whole new person (or persons) for LL to use? We can call him Fatty Linden and his job will be to listen to us, because after all, we gave him life. I figure if only 6 of us donate 20 lbs (I'll start with my thighs) each, we'll have a scrawny lil dude that LL won't have to feed much, but he'll have the combined brain power of all his donors. :)

Haha!

/me ponies up my tummy :o

So who's in tight with LL? Can you get them to turn SL back on please. I have stuff I need to work on and my time and tier are being wasted.

Sarah if YOU need help getting LL to listen, then the rest of us might as well just quit. ;)

Can't we just give the job to Trout?

Are you saying I'm made of second-hand fat? I think my feelings ought to be hurt, but it's too weird to contemplate.

Trust me - if the Lindens listened to me, things would be different! Probably worse. But definitely different.

Maybe we can get 25,000 people to each contribute $1 or 5000 to contribute $5 per year. Then we can form a corporation and purchase Enterprise level support.

Then when they turn off SL we can get our spokesperson to give a call and also get a ticket answered in a timely fashion.

Who wants to be the spokesperson?

Yea I did a long blog explaining just how I feel about enterprise support here...

http://www.your2ndplace.com/node/1219

Basically this is the support that we should be receiving for paying 300 dollars a month on the sims. I pay more than 25k a year in tier and auctions but I'm not prepared to pay an amount that could be compared to a persons entire yearly income more just to get what we should already have. It's total crap that they even offer this service. Now I love the support I get when they get to the tickets and couldn't be happier with the Lindens I have dealt with like Patch Linden who rocks. I am sick and tired of the service I get from LL as whole. Maybe I'm just a bit angry because my last few tickets took weeks. 2 tickets to convert a sim to 4 open spaces took 17 and 14 days. I have a friend leaving sl so he sold me his sims. So today they get to the transfer ticket and its on day 13. My friend leaving no longer has payment info on file because like I said he is leaving and having transferred the sims to me he should have no more expense. Since the ticket has taken two weeks, one of the sims has tiered again and billing denied so it will be more time until we get it sorted. My biggest bitch is during these waiting periods it's just wasted tier. I can't rent out sims that are being converted in a few days, or use sims not yet transferred to me. Sims cost 300 dollars a month, so when it takes 14 or 17 days that's over 150 dollars of tier that I am charged for and pay on something I can not use. Ad that on top of the 100 per sim it takes to transfer or convert.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game with a passion I just feel we should be treated well, and have our support tickets handled in a timely manner considering the 300 dollars per sim we pay on top of our membership fees without needing to pay 25,000 usd extra. I don't think it's to much to ask that we get the service we pay for.

Your idea, your project. :) I'd pay USD 10/year to have a real Representative.

I wonder if you can have multiple sims/people with Enterprise level, or if one person needs to be paying tier for all of the sims involved. Starting a project like this for even say 25 or 50 bucks a person could get lots of people involved and it would be a way to get LL to have to deal with all of us sim owners as a whole and force them to either give us reasonable ticket response time, or take away the fact that they insult us by even offering this pay extra for decent service bullshit.

This seems to lend some support to a theory I've had for a long time that LL's main business focus is on big time customers who are doing things in sl that most of us will never see. I myself have been a subcontractor on a couple of projects that gave me the idea.

How can you get 12,000 bots to pay $1?

Little or not, they make a lot of money from everyone paying tier. 300 dollars per month should be enough to cover maintenance and tickets should not take 12, 15, 17days plus to be handled.

I've waited much longer than 17 days, the ticket system is rubbish. Live chat on the other hand I've generally found to be absolutely wonderful.

I don;t think I have ever waited that long for a ticket to be taken care of
maybe 2 or 3 days for low priority stuff...

*hugs*
try live support instead hehe

I love the idea of live chat, but on these types of tickets all I have ever gotten was "It's in line, should be very soon"
