Reasons to Love SL

That reminded me of a time in my store. I caught a glimpse of a small rabbit running across the floor (it looked so cute lol), so found it with my cam controls. It was standing, semi-hidden, in a little corner betwen 2 sofas. I shouted "catch the rabbit - rabbit stew tonight!", and it TPed out lol.

Seeing that rabbit run across the floor is a little hilight that I'll remember for a long time.

And it inspired John Updike to write a book......

It does. In SL I have no bills, no kids, no job. Pretty much nothing to really give a crap about and I kinda like it that way. SL is my escape for sure.

Being able to share MY sense of humour, which most people don't get - with people who get it. Meeting people with my sense of humour. Getting them.

Pointing and laughing at willies without being in a real life SM club.

My crazy-ass man who amazes me more with every passing day, and with more appearances on E. Even if that means having to forcibly restrain him from flooding our house with his films and the door needing to be stretched as his head gets bigger. AND being able to stream from the likes of You Tube in the first place.

I bought a dog a few months back. Only had it follow, fly and sit with me. Well the other day I was being a bad girl and had it attack!!!! The person the dog attacked went flying out of the fully enclosed skybox that we were in and fell head first down 700m into the bottom of the sea. Now I do it when people fall asleep at their pc's or are afk for a period of time that I think is too long. They wake up or log back in and wonder how they got there. You gotta love it.

Out sailing one beautiful sunny day in SL and a pregnant cop popped into the boat with us. She said she was pregnant and needed help.

We asked where the father was and she said she really wasn't sure who it was. Anyway - her rent was due and she began to cry. She was about to be out of her SL home - and where would she and the baby go?

My partner and I completely went along with her, enjoying her little story Unfortunately, without financial assistance, she said abortion was her only choice. Oh My..the story went on and on. We finally abandoned the boat and left the poor pregnant cop out on the SL sea.

Best pan handler I ever met in Second Life...bet she was making money at it too!

LoL that's funny, I would have offered to have delivered the baby for her, get some nice blood squrting particle scripts and screaming baby sounds, make some signs advertising the birth of Torley Linden's love child, set up a tent in the middle of SL5B and charge admittence for people to come in and visit Sl's own equivilent to the "Birth of Baby Jesus/Torley-tot". The baby will have a head shaped like a water melon (get Grim Babies working on that!) and will offer fantistic tips and advice for L$100 a session. All money collected going to preggo cop to resolve her money woes (with a sizable commision for me of course)

Im overburdened by my own genius on occasion so good to express these excellent ideas to the public

Weddings that go terribly wrong.

"Hello, I know you may think this is strange, but my RL husband is addicted to SL and he stays in the office all night and never comes home. I recently discovered an e-mail with an avatars name in it and I think he intends to get married to her in here, I just want him to get better and to come home to me and the kids." That is the basics from a 3 hour conversation in SL, a lot of cross checking was done with facts to make sure that this could possibly be true, within the next day the man in question said it was a stalker and telling lies, 2 days later the wedding was anulled and 3 days later the man was never to be seen again.

Second wedding. Everyone has tp'd in, all standing a round and the officiate as announced that the proceedings will begin.

"Hello, excuse me, before this wedding begins, I would like to say I am married to him in RL and we had a long talk about this last night, he's married to me and me alone, and if he's going to marry anyone in Sl it will be me, so sorry this wedding is off"

My reason for Lovin' SL:

I get to meet people from all walks of Life, States and Countries. It's made me realize the benefits & downfalls of other places. I have more 'friends' in foreign countries than I made in 39 years in my whole life.

It has also taught me a lesson in Patience
