Ichelus island (in the Ichelus sim .. duh!) has been remodelled and the inert volcano has become active.  So I brave the fire and drop into the core  There was a time when unscripted blobs of lava hung inside the core. Now that the thing is active, some blobs shot up and fall down the mountainside. Some of them fall back into the core and fall right down to the bottom. Try sitting on those - at your peril. This is a mature volcano!!!!!  I was VIOLATED!!!!! Kinda hot actually. Snippet from a conversation on the lip of a volcano - She: i thought throwing your self in was supposed to make it stop Me: Only if you're a virgin She: *cough* She: typical.. i think it's insulting my virginity Me: Volcanoes are often cynical creatures

I have got a volcano (ok: a volcano-ette) on my island on Swan and must say I'm totally delighted - it's one of the best mannered creatures around me. Just a little puff of smoke from time to time, but no rocks, no lava, nothing else. It's just hot enough to give water to the hot source that sits on its flank. So we live in perfect peace and harmony - which is good as I wouldn't be aware of any virgins in my friends list... |

Mari When they made the island a while back, just a small area around the core was damage-enabled. It's flagged safe at the moment Hopefully they will extend that outwards as physical chunks of glowing lava rock get spat out and tumble down the sides and into the sea. Dodging those could be fun. Hanging around the vottom of the core will be fun too as some of the rocks fall back into the core. Some prims to sit on inside the core would be good, so people could sit and chat while risking death. BTW: The central part of the lava at the top is non-phantom, so you can stand there for some great photo effects. To get in or out of the core, just go to the sides.  .  .  .
