Seldom there is black and white, right and wrong. And very seldom do we have all the facts from all the relevant sources.
However, I must say that regardless of how I feel about anyone's personality, if they provide an interesting and possibly enlightening perspective on a matter of interest, then I'll read and open my mind to what that individual has to say (whether I agree or give it credence is an entirely other matter).
Clearly if the discussion is not of interest or if an individual lacks in serious credibility, then I click that X on the top of my screen and move on to something more interesting.
With respect to Stroker -- sure, I'm interested in various facets as the lawsuit is of major interest to myself (I have a longstanding interest in intellectual property's evolution with technology advancements). Anyone who has an angle on the subject is worth looking at.
Jumpy may be an exciteable sort, but it's easy enough to wade through the personality to find some possible interesting points of view.
In any event...
Fascinating.

I think it more likely that he already has a fast exit planned win or lose. Reopening the island is a last shot at income before he does. ANd with all the publicity alot of folks will go and look possibly buy because they think he will get banned. It's actually a fairly shrewd move |

WE have to suffer for one man's VANITY! well vanity in this virtual world comes with Jumpman Lane's foot in ya a$$! I'm keepin MY foot on his neck! We're not losing, LL is like any other company it's run by the accountants, so if you want to be heard they only listen to dollar signs. Plenty of peoples stuff sux, that doesn't mean they should be singled out as targets, and as far as I've seen you're the No1 promotional tool for any vanity Stroker has.

Nothing really to get upset about - it's not a real lawsuit. per se. Lindens just got their boy to file to get a precedent set in an American court they can live with. This way no other class action suite about xstreetsl.com or the merchant partnerships and other stuff can be taken to court in the US successfully without resourcing the outcome of the Stroker lawsuit. No one planning to sue their service provider would buy at $1,200 USD island right before filing and pay tier for a year afterwards. |
