Serious problem with clothing attachments

Hello,
The last few days I experience a strange problem. When I wear (attach) a skirt, this is NOT shown on my avatar, though in my inventory appears to be WORN. This does not happen with trousers, but I do not think it is a gender-oriented issue ;-).
I am not sure if the following is a symptom of the same problem, but I also realized that I cannot see some others' animations, such as "kneeling" or "bending".
I would greatly appreciate if someone could advice me on this.
Thanks in advance.

Is this a prim skirt or a system skirt? System skirts have a bug supposedly fixed in the 1.20 RC client

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2778

Never had a problem with prim skirts other than the usual lag or hiccups

I think the system skirt problem has returned, I have seen several threads about it in the last few days.

Thanks for the reply.

It is a system skirt supplied with a purchased clothing set.

I just found that there have been a thread on this:
/327/aa/251360/1.html

I tried a suggestion I read there, and it did work. It's the following:
- Go into edit appearance
- Goto the skirt tab
- Remove the skirt (don't close Edit Appearance)
- Wear the skirt again
- Now close Edit appearance

I don't know what it will happen in the future, but at least for now I do wear my skirt ;-)

I have found nothing as yet about the animation problem.

Ceka, run past me, i'll tell you.. I'm not going anywhere until I get my Huddles back!!

Izumi, yes that's the other fix but won't work if you get a skirt which is no modify. RC 1.20 viewer is the other option.

Assuming Windows.

since system skirts is an issue in the baking process, which is a client function, it depends on if the Nicholaz viewer bakes properly. Since I would bet dollars to donuts it does, you should be just fine. darn. Use an official viewer! it's more "fun". :p
