Gee, I'd say send a bill to Linden Lab, their software, their glitch, their responsibility. Why would you think it's the shop keepers? They have no control over LL's software. Put the responsibility where it belongs...Linden Lab. TOS - Not LL responsibility. I know if sucks. Isn't it nice when you get to write your TOS to be completely one sided in your own favor?

Not more, not less. Wich for me is capped every day. BUT THERE IS AN EASY FIX! A smart merchant would check the "Send IM to e-mail" so he/she would be noticed about everything people tell them. Though sometimes that's not enough either. It happens that IM's arrive a day after sent. Since I have 50+ IM's every day, happens often that I've read the e-mail with the text of the IM, but the IM popped up second day in Second Life. Yeah, it's a weird deja-vu feeling first... then you get used to it. Also happens that some specific IM's just don't reach me. Happened several times in the last year that my rent was terminated because the "rent due" message from the rentalbox didn't reached me. That happens almost always when the sim is laggy. Also, it happened to me too that I purchased something and didn't received it. Always I purchased from a sim that was undergoing a large event and at the time lag was huge. My advice for laggy shops is to take a good look at the product and try to search for the main shop of the vendor. Most of the times it's less cluttered than the sim you're currently in.

Here's some advice:
Please put your subject in the thread subject, so folks interested in the subject get a clue. It's a matter of courtesy and also getting attention from the right people. Courtesy, because an uninformative title says "It's not worth a moment of my time to keep hundreds of you from wasting a moment yours. Therefore, I think my time is worth hundreds of times more than yours!"

To the OP- the best solution is to
1) Buy only copy/no transfer items. 2) Buy only from reputable merchants. (No Biz in a Box people etc)
Then, when something goes wrong, you can request a new copy and there's no reason *not* to give it to you since you already had copy permissions.
