Um...errm...wait! You said you don't say n00b here! I caught you! Ha!

(do I still get the purrs? Huh huh? ;) )

/me puts her arms around your neck and stares into your eyes from about two inches away.

Caught, by god. And by a n00...er, a very perceptive gentleman. Wanna see my fire particles? Or shall we go straight to the spork?

(/me whispers in a frantic aside to Annabelle, "Quick! What's the bleeding spork for?!"

Well, since that wasn't a full Godwin, I guess that will have to do.

ok...I know what a spork is, but I've been hearing it lately in odd contexts. What the heck does a spork have to do with anything?

And to Lindal goes the spoils! Have fun with the KFC hon ;)

Has anyone a higher post count here than Colette?

Ahh but what about posts per day.

Colette joined March 2005 and has (as I write this) 14,887 posts which is ~ 11.4 posts a day

Brenda joined Jan 2007 and has 12,999 posts so is posting at a much faster rate.. roughly 20.5 posts a day.

A relative new comer is Maureen who only joined in Feb. 2008 and has racked up 4,954 posts! and is posting at a ~21 post a day clip!

Go Maureen!

You put your hand up for a date with the winner of Mo's competition, which was Nichole, a female . . . NOT Jerboa.

Pep (Shakes his head and determines not to try to help again, again)

Why?

Ask all those who seem to get a thrill out of posting in nonsense threads like the "Just ignore and let this one die" one just to see how high it goes.

They live to see their post counts skyrocket like if it really meant anything. They post for the sake of posting, not because of what the topic is.

I don't know, I just don't see what the big deal is. But then, I don't live to indulge in trivial pursuits.

I know, I know.

Early response to the usual followups.

Crikey.

Jerboa won the trophy for the lowest post count (at the time).

Nichole won the award for guessing the number I was thinking about (or getting close to the number I had in my head). That award included a date with a hot avatar.

I neglected to include the date with a hot avatar when announcing Jerboa's award. My apologies to Jerboa (and others) for the confusion.

Therefore, dates with hot avatars have now been awarded to both a man and a woman.

Phew, I do hope everyone is happy now. /me is going to go recline somewhere comfy.

Actually, that thread is mostly a social gathering of sorts. Still think it's a trivial persuit?
