You know you play SL to much when....

When logging IN to second Life, and staring at your "last image" from your last session, you try to orbit the camera to get a different view of whomever you were with.

When you calculate the cost of pizza, in lindens. (L$2000 btw)

My housemates and I routinuely make Second Life jokes, my particular favourite is outstretching my left arm when they ask me to hand them something.... usually followed by me turning around the other way, and putting my arm behind my back to try again.

I've also been known to say IRL, that's a really nice build!, the texture-work is very good.... etc......

It puts my SL purchases into perspective to realize that the pizza place we usually use charges L$4176. And every slice of tomato or green pepper is an extra prim.

when I looked at a item in the RL store and thought that I could build that better with less prims...

Or see a shirt in a RL store and think it'll go great with some slacks you have, then remember the slacks are in SL. This works in reverse, too, when you see clothes for sale in SL shops and accidentally imagine them with RL clothes.

When you look at things in RL, and can't help but figure out how to turn it into prims.

... I do routinely asses the number of prims it would take to build a reasonable facsimilie of RL items.

LOL, when you see RL real estate and wonder how much per square meter it costs.

I do this with clothes too....figure out if it could be made into an outfit and how easily it would be....
...not that I would actually make them lol, just wondering.

Walking over a doormat today I was waiting for it to say hello or hand me a landmark

When textures look blurry in first life, you wonder if their is a way to reduce the lag....

When I moved to Sweden, I was delighted to see life mirroring Second Life, as the real estate market is full of cost per square metre as opposed to merely a price for the whole place.

LOL *nods* I do this on almost every web site on the net and was what I had planned to say. It really drives me nuts when I fire up my Sims2 game and try to alt-pan around.

Last night watching Dexter, I kept starring at the TV wondering where my camera controls hd gone to...

And... "PLAY" SL? (o.o) I play _in_ SL, but SL itself.... I say, I reside. But, maybe that's because I play too much.... Heh... (=_=)y

Play...no...but I sometimes find myself instantly recognizing when a complete stranger's face will fit well on an avatar head. I then instinctively want to do stuff like buzz thier back hair line so it stays above the neck seam, erase tan lines, and change the location of the sun and light settings for better shading. Damn, it's RL! I can't do that, at least not without getting thrown in jail, or the looney bin!

When you use the term RL wife instead of just 'wife'. As if you have something(one) hiding in SL waiting for you to logon.
