What about the escorts that have ads placed in SL clubs advertising live cam? Would that fall into this category?

that's if you assume its the actual photo of the person in question. i don't believe it will effect SL in the least as, as the above poster put it, we just pixels.

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

So does that mean if we don't have sex, the terrorists win?

I saw this first on another mailing list, and was surprised that the NGLTF was even still around. They were a major gay right's lobbying group around the time I came out, but these days, that role has been filled (quite well) by the Human Rights Campaign. I don't know where NGLTF fits in the political spectrum these days, or what this says about them and this issue. I looked around for other organizations trying to raise awareness about this, and couldn't find any.

As far as I understand it, the NGLTF (at least as it exists today) has a slightly different focus from HRC. NLGTF is more focused on building local initiatives, community initiatives and other grassroots measures, while HRC remains much more focused on big-ticket politics and lobbying efforts. I also think that the NLGTF is slightly less tethered to the democratic party than HRC is currently.

No, it means that we can then make peace with the terrorists because we will believe the same things that they do.
