I dont know why LL persist with PIOF. Is no point in information thats never used. If PIOF is the minimum required to access A-rated activity then just put in Mum or Dads credit card number and never use it. Is dumb is PIOF when used as a safeguard. I think LL should just dump it. PIU and thats it. Mum or Dad will soon put a stop to Juniors activities when it shows up on their bill.

I use Paypal to pay for LL and everything else, because of what the vendor sees - nothing at all.

edit: also interesting that my bank also sees nothing, except that a payment was made to Paypal.

hmmm...... My alt is not verified and has no payment info on account..

Do I understand that all your alts must be verified? I have heard many speak of large numbers of alts and i wonder how this will effect the "model" alts (bots)

if it's not tied to your verified account i would think it would have to..my alt is tied to mine..

That's actually a subject of some controversy and speculation, over on the Linden thread. One poster got the impression that Blondin is really Katt with a new identity (courtesy of the Linden Witness Protection Program?). What's Katt-like about him to some of us is the sense that he's just the messenger for some higher-ups who are shifting the definitions out from under him. On the other hand, he's not without any authority: he is apparently running the new InfoHub project. So, go figure.

Blondin is also the community liason, or something like that, for Nautilus City and Bay City (at least those two). As in there are resident groups assocated with them and Blondin is in those groups. There have been at least one Bay City meeting he was at and at least on Nautilus City meeting he was at.

Unless I have my Lindens confused.

Desmond, normally I agree with most of what you say but I have serious doubts about this one.

I understand that not everybody is unhappy with the adult content plan. That's fine, got no problem with that. The majority of people who are talking about it seem pretty pissed off and LL is making it clear that they just don't care.

/me is tired of being treated with contempt by LL. This whole deal is being handled even worse than the openspace fiasco was and they're just marching happily along, pretending it's all good.

Cyn is the one that seems to be driving this. I've yet to see behaviour from her that I'd call 'first class.' Or from any other Linden associated with this mess.
