As Sling points out, having one adult parcel on the sim means either the sim has to be flagged as adult or the adult parcel tenant has to create a new business or move. Flagging the sim as adult means other business on the island can now only be visited by people who choose to access adult content and only found in search by such people. This will lead to island owners losing income via rental fees and will also mean the renter has to find a new home at their cost, no free grace period with a TP redirection in most cases and no free land on Ursula. LL see this as an issue between the tenant and the landlord, which would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that it's LL's policy causing the problem. Plenty of estate owners already insist that adult ventures shouldn't explicitly advertise their build on the outside and as LL are currently saying adjacent sims can be of a different rating they should lower the granularity to parcel level, even if it's only a grandfathered issue and they don't allow this on new islands. |

The fact that they really thought only 2 to 4% would need to move and that the rest of us didn't care? It's one of the stupidest ideas ever. Taking what Second Life is and shoving it all on one continent. They can not hide the fact that Second Life is very "Adult". That's how Second life grew so fast and you can't just turn around make it rated G for everyone. This whole plan is one of the worst I've ever seen of LL.

As a multi private island owner I've been planning this since the initial announcement. I simply zoned one of my sims Adult and am moving all my renters with adult businesses there. For those with only a sim or two this is going to be a pain, though.

Linden Lab should really get a special Community Team together and start reviewing applications to move to Ursala. Or we will have another fiasco like Nautulis; Real Estate predators making it impossible for the smaller Mature content companies to get a new piece of land.
But I do not believe LL wants these business' to flourish anyway so it is in their best interest to make this entire process ridiculous in an effort to discourage mature business owners.

The price has fallen through the floor for PG land..even unblockable ocean west isnt selling easily...bots are taking 512's at L$1600 ish...depressingly Mature seems as bad...bots arent taking it at L$1950 and am unwilling to drop further. News STILL isn't widespread about the Adult proposals so mature could go 2 ways..........give away...or quick adult opportunists mopping up to get a free move. Will LL set a time limit before swapped land can be resold?? huh huh???
P.S the jira is attracting massive votes between screen refreshes lolllll
