I cannot believe that after checking the blog on any issues and then adding money to my account I purchase land inworld only to find that in the 25 minutes a post in the blog appears.

Great, I've already purchased 1/4 sim in that time and now I have paid for it, its still for sale and I am not showing as the owner.
So referring to the thread that was not there when I original looked;

"Ops is working on the problem, and the database is again improving. Please continue to refrain from making inworld transactions however, until the all-clear is given again.
For things as large as land sales why can't Linden Labs stop all purchases from actually taking place with an error message or something or even a message coming up on screen like we get when they are shutting the Grid for maintenance? This cannot be so dificult and it is not the first and definetly won't be the last time it will happen.
Do we have to read the blog every 10 minutes or prior to making a purchase?
How many residents even know the blog exists?
How many residents have made a purchase in the last hour and not received their items?
How many tickets have been raised re this issue?
Not often would I moan at Linden Labs but this is pretty poor on their part. There must be an easier way to get the massage across.
and now lets wait for the threads, "I purchased a new Skin" and I can't find it in my inventory and the money has gone from my account.
Communicate with the RESIDENTS not just stick a post on the blog for no-one to see until its too late.
To add insult to injury, we have to check the blog to see if the all clear is given on purchases.

My point is though, why do we have to check the blog, why can't they issue a set message in world notifying residents that there is a problem with purchases rather than having to go through the inconvenience of raising a ticket. |

As a creator with a business, I've found it unnecessary to read the blogs. I can usually tell if they are having problems by the number of offline IMs I find when I get home.
Looking at my sales over the last couple of weeks, I can vouch that a lot of potential customers do check the blogs with regularity. |

That's about right .. a freind of mine has been losing inventory over the last few weeks ...
Items missing from database etc .. Items inworld disappearing on rez Has been intouch with concierge "chat" .. to be told " Lots of people are having the same issues" .. and to stand by .. "they are talking with "Devs" about it ... Welll yesterday I was present when he spoke online with "Live chat" .. and was told to "hang on".. It was 30 minutes later that an "In world" message was sent out to warn of the problems and "not to rez no copy items or conduct land deals" What if you have lost Ks L$ worth of goods from your inventory ? Read the ToS ? ... LL are not responsible ?? Oh !! sorry to interupt your pie crap .. .. WELL DONE TO ALL THAT HAVE 1*10 posts .. !! I like pie too  |Yeah !! Read This LL !! I usually check the blog every 12 minutes. 10 would be just too obsessive.
No matter how many times it happens, it never ceases to amaze me how long it takes them to warn us about things we figured out hours ago. HAPPY 5,000th RAYMOND. Now go get a life! _____________________

The seller who I purchased the land from all of a sudden has a problem understanding English,does not know if he got my money and will try to work it out.Rubbish,I've told him how to check it and if he is sitting on my wonga I want it back fairs fair.Says I can buy it now ,I am not paying twice.In the mean time play has stopped .I am out of prims and patience and checking blogs ,accounts et al to see a result. sorry Teed off too.
