Does anyone know how to use a mastercard gift card on here?
I keep trying, and it always directs me to paypal, and paypal isnt letting me do it.
Any help?

Also, I noticed a blog post claiming some paypal issues have been recently resolved.

From what I can make out gift cards are a pain in the bum as far as SL goes.

From a personal perspective I always use a prepaid mastercard for all web transactions, including SL.

You do have to provide/verify name and address info but that's it.

I top up online using a debit card, but you can top up direct from your bank account or by cash/card at various outlets (in the uk, the easiest are post offices)

If you're in the UK, I use a cashplus mastercard and never had a problem, web site is at:

I'm sure there must be similar types of cards available in your country too.
