It's disabled.

You can use the [IMG]tag but that's about it.

Also, see the greasemonkey sticky for other options.

So any html inserted into a post will show up in its raw form then and it's not just me?

Such as url links.

correct. LL broke it and they are not showing any inclination to fix it.

Yes. You cam wrap image tags around the link, but some report they don't see it. If you are a progresive and use Firefox there is a script of some sort you can use to make the code work.

If you use Firefox, this will correct the issue:

/327/b2/188445/1.html

And, when they did work, the forums used BBCode, not standard HTML.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Right Brenda, thanks...but I'm more interested in others seeing what I put in rather then what I see myself. So if most can't see it, there's no sense in adding any in!

Yeah, that just makes a blank space in the post for me.

You could post the URL twice, once with the image tags and once just as text, and that should make a clickable link for everyone. I'm generally not that motivated though. :)

Basicly I was just trying to add a url link to click on which opens the sl window to transport you to a spot in SL, but I guess that's not gonna work here.

Random SLurl:

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Stellar%20Isle/86/127/24

I can't see the second one, but the first is clickable for me due to the Firefox Greasemonkey script previously mentioned. The second should be clickable for others.

Add a ? at the end and your golden. It might work with a slurl too but I have never needed to try

Actually it works in the preview but when I save it, it's all screwed up again.

OK take a regular url
h++p://www.google.com
I used + instead of t so the board does not try and convert it for me.

Add a trailing ?

h++t://www.google.com?

Wrap it in IMG and /IMG tags with []

normat t in this final version ... no +
http://www.google.com

Finally ... most regulars here just cut and paste as needed because we are used to how this perticular board is set up.

Just to double check ... you are using the IMG tag and not URL, right?

The thing is, we are using a hack or an exploit where the IMG tag can be faked into giving a clickable link. URL tags are hosed all together.

Also ... my settings shown at the bottom of the page are:

You're using the url tag.

Edit: Get rid of the '=' in the last one and just close the bracket.
