Gold shoes

Has anyone seen gold shoes anywhere? Looking for some to wear to a party!
I've seen a lot of yellow-y shoes, but no really gold ones...

Armidi has some really nice gold heels, I purchased them yesterday There are several shades of gold available there

if you have a pair that can be modified have you tried applying 'shiny' in texture, that could make yellow shoes look gold, well to those who have shiny on at least. But I'm not sure this is possible, just a thought.

Black Moon has a pair of gold platform heels, very nice, and inexpensive. There are also gold-and-rose colored regular heels, and leopard heels and boots. Also all the shoes there are mod, so you could apply your own texture.

I have a pair in my store in Hillhurst that has 12 gold/12 silver textures (total 24) in one pair of shoes, so you have different choices in the gold you use. They are heels, but not your typical ones. They have a heel-less look similar to these:

Okiphia, I know what you mean. BUT, it has been my experience repeatedly that the readers of the RA forum are a much more active and involved group, and have great answers on just about everything (including where to find the best gold shoes!). When I have posted in products wanted, i get very few answers, and don't usually end up finding what I was looking for. I think people just aren't as active in that forum, for whatever reasons.

I for one don't have a problem with a post in RA about where to find gold shoes. It IS a question, which makes it far more appropriate for this forum than a lot of the other garbage I see that gets posted here, that has no real question at all associated with it.

I know it isn't officially the way this forum is supposed to work, but hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I don't think it is pervasive enough that is is causing any problems, and a lot of people are getting some good help.

To the OP, I was looking for very special shoes for a friend who'd made me loads of clothes. I found them but in the wrong colour. I IMed the owner and he was more than happy to make the shoes at no extra cost in the colour I wanted.

It was Ribbons & Roses. Cool place with amazing customer service.

Yes and they also have some lovely no-heel shoes with a lot of gold detailing.
The owners are absolutely fabulous and have even colour-matched shoes to fabric swatches I've sent them.

Skin Within has some pretty sandals in a variety of colours, some of which are all or partly gold. Worth checking out.

while I do not have gold shoes, and not a large assortment of shoes (I need to make more)

I am always open to doing custom colors and am willing to wager (if it were legal to wager) that many designers would do the same thing.

No harm in asking, if you find a style you like, to see if they will do it in a color you want.

Same with clothing layers, if you want something on a different layer, no harm in asking the designer ( I have custom colored shoes for folks and clothing layers as well)
