Sorry it was the best way, I thought.
I want to say thank you with hugs all around for everyone who participated in last night's Marathon Open House Party. 10 1/2 hours, and the whole time there were people at the Hangout having a good time, never a quiet moment. Congrats to all the Cash prize winners, that's so many pairs of shoes I won't buy. Especially the 6-10PM stretch where we had them packed in. It was good to see familiar names attached to unfamiliar faces, and a few totally new people wander in. Special thanks to Chris for the decorating, and to the entertainers: Oryx, Mal, Syd Goff and Davez Zeddmore who was the hit of the evening. It was an exhausting but truly rewarding day and night, Now I know how Jerry Lewis feels. I love you all.
Sings: "When you walk through a storm, keep your chin up high, and don't be afraid of the dark......."

It was an fun day, Brenda and the entertainers did an amazing job. When we leave the arguing and bitching of the forums behind for a few hours it is pretty amazing at what we can accomplish. A special thanks to all the ladies who danced with me. For all the ones I didn't get to dance with, there is always the Christmas party.

I thought it was an incredibly good party. Lots of people I see on the forums and quite a few people I haven't. The music was great. The costumes were great. I look forward to the next one.

I had a great time. Thank you very much to Brenda and Chris and all the entertainers.
What impressed me most was to see people who battle regularly here in the forums relaxing and enjoying each others company at the Hangout. I am being completely sincere in saying that I'm honored to enjoy the company of adults who understand that there is a time for healthy debate and a time to let it all go.

It was a great party, and I enjoyed myself despite being ill in RL and sneezing all the time!

*sigh* I should start a "Buy Anna a new compy fund." Try more RAM first-ever since I upgraded from one to two GB RAM, it's been fine for me.

It was indeed nice to put some avi's to names. Thanks all for the great time.

That was a great costume, Annabelle! You had to leave before I could get a good picture of it. Cheers to the organizers!!! I had a blast once the tense felino-rodentio relations settled down.

Glad you all had a good time last night, and thanks to Chris for pushing out the pics; although puzzlingly there seemed to be a remarkable lack of nudity..... I promise, I promise, I promise, I'll get to the next one (assuming it's in my time frame) - I've just realised that my Second Life has actually become busier than my First Life ... and for which I joined SL to get away from....sighhhhh And anyway I know you're all dying to meet me /me waits for a Cutting Comment From Brenda......... Inc

Very fun! Great job to Brenda and Chris for organizing it! Maybe a thanksgiving party next month? (Yeah yeah I know it's "American" but is there another big holiday toward the end of November?)

Bradley, thanks. Alyx, I came as a Ginko Slot Machine.
I spent nearly 5 minutes putting it together. LOL
Folks, think I should put the machine in the clubhouse with a "this doesn't really work" hovertext on it?

From: Oryx Tempel Very fun! Great job to Brenda and Chris for organizing it! Maybe a thanksgiving party next month? (Yeah yeah I know it's "American" but is there another big holiday toward the end of November?) The 30th is St. Andrew's Day, we could all wear kilts! It's also the 25th anniversary of the release of "Thriller." Barbados and Yemen celebrate independence on that day as well. ~Bodhi (Who is celebrating Turkemnistani Independence day with a dinner of salmon cakes. Yum!)

lol, given your normal clothes, I'd suggest 'Mr. Rogers' as an appropriate costume.
