If Strife doesn't lock it soon then something has gone terribly wrong. If ever a thread had outlived its usefulness and was off-topic, it's this one.

Perhaps if someone is about to start a genuine thread they can recycle this one and just ask their question below

That has never stopped Strife before. Strife often uses the "off topic" reason to lock a thread which has remained on topic but which was a silly topic to start with. That's what he/she did with my "Is this a typical SL escort?" thread and then said I was trolling despite the fact that it was a genuine thread with a question about something that a lot of SL residents think is relevant.
