There is a point here in that wandering around SL thinking "oh, this is what the place looks like", rarely dipping below 30 fps - even in Midian City for heaven's sake! - means that you basically live in a different world to everyone else. And, unless you also then test things with a slower system, means that you cannot properly design architecture or interactive content.
Also: sell the system and you can buy a sim and pay for a few months' tier on it.

would you mind tellling me how well that system renders 99 avatars nearby ? the worst lag on a client pc is the rendering of avatars the viewer can display. try a few loaded up sims like Money Island and please post the results if you wouldnt mind, thanks.
