started for me last night, just worse today :(

Hopefully it clears up, but meanwhile, rest assured folks, it is not your PC (like I thought about mine LOL)

If you are experiencing slowness on the sl site (and forums) please send them a report (via live chat or ticket) so they know

I am speaking to a linden now and they said no other reports so far

Been getting it all day here as well. Seems to happen in fits: A link or two will respond right away, then for the next ten minutes pages will time out, and I have to repeatedly click on links to get them to do anything.

I guess it's LL's way of trying to introduce consistency across all its services. "Linden Labs proudly introduces new forum features! Want to re-experience the lagfest of the most-loaded mainland sim, but can't get in-world? Simply visit our forums!" :p

Edit to add: The last time I submitted a support ticket for a login or connectivity issue, I got an email back stating that I was not a premium member and therefore my problem didn't matter to them, and my ticket was rejected.

I have noticed this also: page load errors, having to try two, maybe three times before loading, problems with CSS loading even then. For what it's worth, I'm GMT+2 whereas some of you above are in the US of A, I think. So I guess it's a problem with the server as opposed to anyone's specific location.

It's as bad today as it was yesterday - now you see it, now you don't.

I've reported it via live chat, and I know that Rha reported it yesterday. The person I reported it to didn't know there was a problem, but we'll see if something is done about it. All she can do is tell whoever it concerns.

Yep. Having the same issue here. Usually end up getting the "You already posted this" message since I hit submit 50 times to make it go through.

I thought it was just my work connection being slow. It's been especially bad the past couple days.

It was about this time last year I think when we had a similar bout of forum gremlins, starting with thw 404 fest. It went on for almost 2 weeks with nary a peep from The Providers, until they finally admitted there was an issue. I think it was BagdadBob Linden who finally made the announcement.

I opened a ticket on it -- like I have done in the past when we've had the 404 issues. Here is the response, which I must say shocked the hell out of me since it does not represent what has happened in the past:

Thank you for contacting Linden Lab Support regarding your issue.

The ticketing system cannot be used to handle any issues in regards to the forum, Please address all issues in regards to the forums to the relevant thread/board and await a reply from the forum admins/moderators, consult the Knowledge Base or Second Life Jira for more information

If you have any more issues, feel free to contact us again at any time.

Regards,
xxxx
Linden Lab Support.

[/font]btw - what would be the appropriate thread/board? The closest I can see is the Technical Forum, but that seems to be completely related to inworld SL issues.

And are there really any admins/moderators anymore?

"Please post in the relevant thread in the forum that you are complaining about not being able to access and wait for a response from the non existant administrators.

Thank You, and have a great SL Day.

I decided to be a beatch about it and I reopened the ticket and posted reference to this thread where Rhaorth had mentioned opening a ticket. While I was at it, I also asked them what they thought the right thread/board might be and let them know that I was pretty sure we had not seen an Admin or Moderator in at least a week or more.

So I reopened the ticket and still basically got the blow-off with this response from the same person that responded the first time:

Thank you for contacting Linden Lab Support regarding your issue.

Unfortunatley as I don't handle issues in relation to the forums and therefore not versed with how the forum is directed, I can not give you any definate direction towards where you should post your issue.

Seeing as you are experiencing a browser based issue, the technical forums may be a good idea to start at.

If you have any more issues, feel free to contact us again at any time.
