Hello every i am new and both me and my wife joined together. We were wondering if you can get marriedn in sl, get rings, hold hands, kiss, and intimacy. If anyone can help i would really appreciate it. thank you

Yes you can do all of the above via pose balls, and attachment huds. I personally think the whole marriage thing is more for personal satisfaction since nothing really changes except for having your spouse listed in your profile as your partner.

they use animations to do the things your asking, just spend some time in SL getting to know how things work and eventually you'll probably end up having a wonderful exciting wedding in SL…

You can buy poseballs designed for weddings which will let you do pretty much anything you'd need to. There's also a device called a Rendezvous which has a lot of more general couple's actions, like walking hand-in-hand, hugging, kissing, dancing, etc, which you might like.

Oh, and there's a shop called Last Call which is having a 100L sale until the end of the month, when they'll close. There are some nice wedding and bridesmaid-type dresses upstairs that your wife might like to look at.

Bits and Bobs has a whole set of wedding animations, and of course cuddles, domestic poses (like sitting by the pool or brushing her hair), and sex anims as well. You may wish to stay clear of the sex room until you get a little used to SL, or at least have some wine at home first ...

I believe many, if not most, people feel they still are the best animation store in SL.

That said, there are other stores as well, with more unusual anims. That said, pop by there, just to get a sense of "good" animations.

Yes, you can have a "wedding" ceremony, with formal wear and gowns and rings.

No, you can't get "married". Not as a legal and binding contract, either civil or religious. But you CAN establish a "partnership". You appear in each other's profiles as the other person's partner.

Next: Animations. There are all kinds of ways to animate your avatar in Second Life. There are poseballs...those pink and blue spheres you see scattered around on couches, beds, and dance floors. Sit on one, and it will make your avatar move in a certain way. There are animation overrides that you wear, that give you a set of walks and stands and sits. There are various sorts of dance machines, and scripted furniture (especially beds). Click them and get a menu of choices.

Some of these animations are intended to allow couples to express affection, like hugs, kisses, and couples walks. Some of them are highly specialized, such as the "wedding party" animations at Bits And Bobs. And some of them are very, very raunchy indeed.

To go with the raunchy animations, you can buy anatomically correct genitals. Most men feel their avatar is a little incomplete without a penis, at least during those private, intimate moments. (but don't leave it on in public...it sticks right through your trousers.)

Being heard by the neighbors: Open chat can be heard up to 20 meters away, and walls don't stop it. IMs are always private and can't be overheard.
