From: Kira Cuddihy So very true. People are going to wonder what happened to you when I tie you to the bed. You're going to kill me!!?? Geesh. A little tieing to the bed is one thing. I'd like it to end up with nobody being dead, though. Sylvester - some people have a lot of value in their accounts. Imagine someone who owns multiple sims worth of land. If they die, there could be tens of thousands of dollars of value in their accounts. On the other hand, if I die, there's about $20 in lindens and garbage in my account. What would be important for me would be that my close friends are informed of my passing. I have a real life friend who is SL-savvy and would be able to get word out. But if I didn't, my family would be clueless. It's just something that's important to some people. It's totally not important to others. Just something to think about, that's all.

From: Sylvester Dragonash ......mental note.... *update my WILL to provide someone with password instructions on my SL status and personal requst*
OMG - fascinating post! Can CSI come in and do some investigating...very interesting and thought provoking!
If i died, would I want family members coming in and looking at my inventory and choice of clothes, landmarks, etc... (ROFL) OMG - talk about rollling over in your grave!!
Not trying to make light of the situation, if legit...just expressing how interesting this post is, never gave it any thought what would happen if I died - wow. do accounts "disolve" after so many years of inactivity??
~Sly Can I post my will here to make is easy to find?

From: Damien1 Thorne Are you calling all the ratings pics garbage? Absolutely not! But they aren't for sale and never will be, so from a financial standpoint, they have no value.

Point well taken...I have heard ppl making a living on here, makes sense. Then YES definently...for those who have considerable $$$ invested in SL, they should consider some kind of procedure should somthing terrible happen..But if you think about, it would be the same for all their other investments..I just would have never given any thought SL as an investment. Of course Im just a poor boy who enjoys a good chat..I dont make money on here, I spend it! LOL

Dear all
I write again to thank you for all your comments and for the suggestion.
I understand the suspicions, I would be skeptical too considering the weird situation, and I want to ensure everybody I am not trying any kind of hacking.
I followed the suggestion of one of you and I am messaging the founders of all the groups of which my friend was a member.
My account is not very new, though in the last 6 months I havent't logged in.
Forgive the naivety of not telling you the seriousness of the matter since the first message, but maybe because I am culturally biased, it is difficult for me to disclose these things about another person.
By the way, in case it happened to me, I wish I had a list of people to be contactd in RL and possibly in SL.
All the best Mik
