The solution to the 25 linden beggers is simple:
Every Forum Cartel member donates 25 linden to me. With that money I start the Flatley Cartel Bank (FCB). No interest as that would close me down. Richer members should of course donate more. Every beggar directs his or her begs towards me. As the CEO of the FCB the applications will be seriously considered, and if funds are enough and the application is approved, I pay out. By not having open membership? We experienced a rash of "begging" noobs a while back. So we decided to make joining by invitation only. I will talk to the officers and Brenda and see what they think about open membership again. At least until the "Can someone give me 25L ?" pleas in chat start up again.  actualy if you make them pay 25L to join this may solve the problem its not a huge fee and if they aren't a begger or spammer you can always umm refund it, but put in a join fee and explain why in the group description. That may not work either but at least they will have to beg for at least 50L in order to get their money back plus the other 25L they wanted in the first place... _____________________
I know the competition that will come along someday is learning from LL's mistakes. But do they have to make so many? |
