I think it was coincidental. The vehicle was an SUV, one that looked like it actualy goes off road, and the various stickers on it showed a definite interest in outdoor sports, and a stint in the Marine Corps. I'm guessing the 2nd life referred to was retirement

I guess thats a good reason too :) kudos to the dude.

I imagine if we got a custom one it would read, "Yayzrama" or maybe "Watrmlnz"

well if this license plate is on my RL car, first thing I would be thankful for is being able to cross the county line without my vehicle sinking into the road.

:D Good one!

The mind boggles at the possibilities!

If I still had a car, I might go for one of the following.

AVATAR
SLAVIE(second life avatar)
BXONHD(box on head)
FLTFTHR(flight feather)
GLITCH
LDTIER(land tier)
PRIMHVY(prim heavy)
LAAAG(no explanation necessary)
Sling Trebuchet

...we don't get license plates with words, no matter what.

only solution: relocate to schleswig, a district near the border to denmark, which has the car registration sign "SL".
I'd try to get SL-LC42 (LC42 is my SLSF Race registration tag) ;)

Just wondering aloud - would any of you ever put your SL on a car licence plate?

Here in California I have 7 letters and a half space I think... hmm. Can anyone think of some good ones? For starters:

BLNGTRD (blingtard)

LND BRN (land baron)

TP FAILD (tp failed)

SL FIC (we don't exist)

XCITE (heh, we should get this as a gift for someone)

NO COPY (but mod and transfer!)

TRT R8D (Trout Rated)

NPIOF (no payment info on file)

GR33F U (grief you!)

NONPHYS (nonphysical, but still, don't try to drive through someone's house)

LLDIE (yes, this car may de-rez instantly, don't run me over when it does)

IN SL NOW (let's just hope the driver can multitask well)

If I were you, I'd pick either TP FAILED or IN SL NOW. I don't recognize any of the other acronyms, but maybe other SL players would.
