Clothes: How many times do you change outfits in one SL day?

hey hey ... don't let that out, some of us have convinced our guys friends to change more often then that!

I choose what I'm going to wear and wear that one outfit that entire day. The only exception is on Thursdays when I host two events. After my afternoon event I change before my evening one. Can you imagine what people would think if I wore the same outfit to both?

I usually only change when i'm not busy building, scripting, designing, helping people or discussing stuff etc.

So, that's about once a month.
And I hate shopping...

Roughly once a month, although if I see something I love, I might change sooner. Usually it's my own creation, or other historical-era items.

It depends. If I'm in practical mode I probably wear something simple and don't change all day. If I'm trying out stuff I might change several times.

One thing I try to avoid is changing at events as it usually ends in disaster. Like my standard joke that I don't strip off in public, I only turn up naked!!!

Usually, only once but it does depend on the events of the day.

Twice or more, depending on what I am doing. Nowadays I am changing more times due I am practicing a theatre show ^^

Usually only once. Sometimes twice, if I bought a new outfit. Three if I'm hosting an event. I remember four times once, but it was an extreme situation.

I have each outfit organized into a folder which I can click on and select "replace outfit" at any time. I probably do that 3-4 times a day but probably more.

I only have two outfits, one formal and a casual. I change when I change venue. Lately it is once ever couple of days.

The "replace outfit" is the best way to go. I use that when I am changing into work clothes.

You have to change your clothes at least once a day, or you will start to SLmell funny.

Heck no .. best way is to strip naked and put new clothes on

At least once a day. I have logged on just to change clothes before. Usually 3 to 5 times a day. Jeans and a tee shirt for day time. Casual outfit after work. Another change for the evening ( ball gown / latex / leather and lace .. depends on where we are going) and finally jammies for sleeping in before logging for the night. (For those that remember the 'how do you go to sleep for the night' thread ... no more spikes for me; i'm getting better thanks to my friends)

It depends. Sometimes I do a "theme" for about a month, like I did with my grungy zombie biker look, or my Residents av...sometimes I prefer to not waster the 100s of items in my inventory and dress different every day like in RL.

Right now I'm doing regular dreads and kind of a "Rob Zombie" look as far as clothing, lol

2 weeks ago it was rude bwai, and I have been known to do the outlaw biker look for weeks at a time

3-5 times, but maybe upto 10-13 if I'm shopping or taking photos. However, sometimes I've liked an outfit so much I'll wear it 2 days in a row....You think that's bad, let's not talk about the amount of time it can take me to select those outfits....gah!

At least twice..
When I first come on I tend to work a bit, so jeans and a fun top.
Perhaps something casual but a little dressy to go shopping or visiting friends.
Then if we go out that night I will wear something wild or a gown depending on where we go..
(This of course does NOT count the 10 or 20 changes to figure OUT what I am going to wear)

Once, unless I'm going somewhere with a theme.

This would be an interesting poll actually. From a super quick perusal of this thread it looks like older avatars change less often. Where's Snowman?

3-4 times a day, sometimes for the hell of it, sometimes to find out what it is and what was i thinkin when i bought it..mainly though its between dj gigs or club venues

Getting dressed, for me, is a process taking a considerable length of time, selecting clothes and accessories from various different sources and combining them with a critical eye to result in a creation far more than the sum of its (already exquisite) parts. Having reached such a level of perfection I do not wish to disturb it unless, well, I am bored with it and have the time to create an ensemble even more perfect.

On the other hand, if I am testing some sort of peculiar avatar or such I will probably change into it and out of it into my standard working outfit quite a bit, and then throw something together afterwards.

I change mine everytime I take the old ones off - usually-.. Well eventually I put new ones back on and I do try to do that before I log off.

It depends on where I'm going. Sometimes I spend way too much time picking out just the right clothes for an event, only to change my mind about going! It's too much fun dressing up my online "dollie!" I feel like I've regressed back to a little girl sometimes!
