From: MrCaleb Doobie ...the info about the product says "you will become human again, you will no longer suffer the curse, you will lose all of your souls"... So, you want to 'become human' and leave all that vampire stuff behind you, yes? From: MrCaleb Doobie I have noticed that some have used the nightshade potion to revert back to human form, and still are able to hold souls [...] So I figure there must be a way around it, if any of you could tell me how you did it, I would greatly appreciate it. ... but you still want to retain 'ownership' of the souls you obtained while you were a vampire, yes? Since humans don't own souls, this begs the question: why do you want to keep them?

I tried the Bloodlines thing for less than a week, just to see what the hype was about, and determined it was boring and useless. Now, I just don't even bother. I think I still have the stuff in my inventory, but I never use it anymore. I don't care that I'm registered or anything. Doesn't affect my SL life in any adverse way. On the positive side, I don't have to worry about the silly bite requests anymore as they think I'm one of them. LOL

From: Smith Peel I'm pretty sure you have to buy the special Vessel of Soul-Preserving from Bloodlines for L$10,000. OK, I know that sounded really authentic, but in case anybody is confused, I totally pulled that out of my ass.

If you pulled that Soul Preserving stuff out of your arse, a vampire would have to be pretty damn desperate to become human before they drank it Or did you mean someone just *did* pay you L$10K for it, and now you have to, uh, deliver?

Since humans don't own souls, this begs the question: why do you want to keep them? Yes to the first, and because the soul I have now is VERY special to me. I know it's only text on a web page, but I'm very sentimental. p.s. I have tried to contact bloodlines tech support, not getting much help if that surprises anyone.

An actual answer to the question
09-01-2009 07:08
From: MrCaleb Doobie Yes to the first, and because the soul I have now is VERY special to me.
I know it's only text on a web page, but I'm very sentimental.
p.s. I have tried to contact bloodlines tech support, not getting much help if that surprises anyone. Ahhh. I have a couple that I know that have done the same thing, MrCaleb. I'm in Bloodlines, btw, and while I'm not completely sure about the Nightshade (it's not something I've used before) I know that half of the couple I'm referring to seems to have her sweetie's soul in her possession, but she is not a vampire. He is a vampire and he has her soul....they are very romantic that way. While some may think it's stupid, it's a symbol of devotion, which i think is quite nice. The only difference that I can see is that the soul he possesses travels up to me, but her's does not, meaning I get credit for his because he is a vampire, but not her's since she isn't. I hope that makes sense. I think that if you drink the Nightshade, you'll revert to human and keep her soul, but your liege will not register her's anymore. I could check on that to make sure.

Thank you Aeryn, as much as I love good humor that so many provide here in these threads, finally someone that gets it. Any info you could give me would be greatly appreciated. If you would rather not post here, leave me a pm or contact me later in SL. I am usually on in the evenings, I am on est.
