Well when I got back on after the big crash, there was a freaking ugly big night club right flush to two of my parcel boarders, so I now have a veiw of foundations that don't site right instead of the ocean. My whole sim is/was pretty much trees open space and few small rentals with all the junk in the sky.

It was a downer after this crash, All it has is a bot running and no one is running it or trying to do anything so it gets stray noobs, one of whom has already greifed people on my place.

I've asked and offered to help them move to the sky, their answer is no but they will buy my land from me, also if anyone has seen it, I remember a bit of LL babble somewhere saying it's best practice to not sit your build right on someone elses boundary but to keep a few meters seperate, I've looked for it and can't find it. Does anyone know where that is?

I don't know about LL babble, but I have had that discussion here in the forum. My covenant requires 2 meters in from the land line/parcel boundary. But it's in the covenant, which has to be agreed to before they can buy the parcel. So it's enforceable. Without that I don't know how I'd make someone do that.

That might be where I read it when I was looking around for land. Thanks Treasure.

Last weekend when this happened there were multiple hundred-sim outages, power failures, giant marshmellow men in ahern, cats and dogs sleeping together...

Someone must've crossed the damned streams!

My thought is this could be a comment on SL's 6th birthday. Either "lets mess up the birthday celebration", or "SL has done some awful changes this year, here's how I feel".

Nah, to do that, they'd rezz/wear sim crashers when M or Phil speak at the opening ceremonies. This is more a, "Look at me! Look at me! I have tiny genitalia! Look at me!"

So, I missed the griefer fireworks, huh?

I remember seeing that someplace too, I think it was in the Knowledge Base. However, just because it's a "best practice" doesn't mean that it's mandatory. You cannot AR somebody for not following it, for example. It's only a suggestion.

Yeh true... it is a good guideline though, when it's right on your border it can be really overwheling if your just a little hut under it. It was weird it felt so almost physically straining as it so overshadows everything, nuts, eh.

We're talking about it and just see how it pans out. I"ve covered her foundations with my own rather large prim and it'll do for a while.

Live help said to AR her, I'd prefer not to as she's my neighbor and has been really un-intrusive until now.
