Is Oki Okey-Dokey?

OK, yet another off topic general discussion thread...honestly, I thought about putting it in "RL Meetups and Events", but it doesn't really fit there, either...

Has anyone heard from Okiphia Rayna/Okiphia Anatine, or seen her in-world lately? She used to be here all the time, and I just realized last night that I hadn't seen her -- well, since before Christmas, I think.

No I havent. I even go to one of the places that she hangs out in world and havent seen her there either. The weather has been bad the last month or so where she lives, but I wouldnt think that would make a difference. If I remember right, she is a Domme, you might want to check her profile and see if one of her girls is listed in there that you can IM and find out what is going on.

I haven't seen her in a while either...used to see her at the hangout sometimes.

A lot of people come and go suddenly, for reasons inworld and out... it's really hard sometimes.

I found I grew fond of, and really miss a lot of the people that were inworld and forums back in 2005.

Most are all gone.

I get the depressing feeling I'll be here still when most of all of you are gone too. People, if you suddenly leave, at least leave a note or something... it helps.

Maybe she got a job. I would hope that she did.

Thats funny you mention Okipha I was looking for a thread from her today and noticed she's not been around.

I just did a search inworld and she does not show up anymore so perhaps she's left.

Yes, she appears to have disappeared. Both names are missing from search, and her web site and blog haven't been updated since mid December.

I hope she's OK.

any way to leave a comment on her blog? It's a concern that her account no longer shows up. that indicates that she's actually quit and cancelled her account, as opposed to taking a sabbatical and just not logging in.

I sent her an IM asking if she was OK in February, at that time she had cancelled one account but the other was still around. No answer. However, the RL age she claimed was quite young ... at that age interests change quickly.

It's always possible that SL search is just borked right now.

Okiphia was putting a lot of money into SL while unemployed. She may have cut it off for financial reasons, and can't come back until she's got everything under control. SL is very addictive and she was in very deep.

The website listed on SL Exchange does not exist any longer (or is not currently findable "oops we can't find that page".

There is an e-mail listed on her profile if anyone wished to try that.

Whatever "Theworldly.org" is, Okiphia Rayna is listed as "Second Life Virtual Conference Center Designer" (World Culture Web Magazine).

Isn't she super young, like 18 and attending school? And unemployed, like Cristalle said? Maybe she just ran into money problems and had to buckle down at her studies.

eldar scrolls is very addictive, i'v not played the latest but i used to spend the same amount of time on the 3rd addition as i do in SL now. once she gets bored of it she'll probably come back. can't see anyone staying away from SL long.

hope she comes back, always liked her threads.

Best Darn solo RPG to date (a few others come to mind). I'm assuming they mean "Elderscrollsblivion".

As far as growing bored with it? NOPE!!

Just like many other games, there's a strong Mod community always building new stuff for it. Not as much as Morrowind had, but still quite strong.

Very BEEEE-YOOOO-TIFULLY done game!! My only complaint against it was, the waters werent "teeming with life" like in Morrowind.
