... and your question is? :p

Another way in which SL may contribute to public education! If this couple had spent some time with a Sexgen bed, they would have had the theory down pat. ;)

I couldn't agree more with the last line of that... "Stupid people should not be allowed to reproduce."

I have been saying for a long time that adults who want to have kids should be given a test... kinda like an IQ test. Pass and you get a piece of paper saying you can breed. Fail? You get a stamp on your private parts so if you try to breed anyways, everyone will know you failed.

Just my thought on controlling the population of this world. lol

Which means that there should be an exception to the rule that there should be an exception to every rule, which means that there should NOT be an exception to some rules, which means that . . .

I try to avoid swallowing watermelon seeds whenever possible. Probably why I only have 1 kid. I also throw rocks whenever I see the stork coming my way with a bundle in it's mouth. I generally avoid cabbage patches, swimming in pools with teenage boys, dead rabbits and leaping the fire.

Yeah natural birth control!

It is safe for work. Just a news article.

Well, if you consider the stupidity level of most mainstream cultures, it's really not that weird. Aren't mature, intelligent, and well-informed individuals a bit of an oddity in this day and age?

Linden Sighting?
02-19-2009 09:47
I noticed on my transactions for yesterday that a Linden stopped by my store in Nordica and picked up a freebie igloo, however, there was no record of a Linden ever being on my land via my visitor list maker. This got me to thinking about the possibility that Lindens may not be real. Like vampires casting no reflection in a mirror, Lindens often leave no trace of their presence or whereabouts.

Now, I'm not one to normally be paranoid, but I got to wondering if this could have been a Linden scout before a full blown invasion of Nordica? Could parts of the grid be imperiled by an impending Linden takeover of the entire grid? Will we as SL residents be taken prisoner and pressed into a medieval feudal form of servitude in the near future? Perhaps today it is merely Nordica, and you're thinking crazy TundraFire is on a bizarre rant this morning, but tomorrow it may be your sim, your home. Your avatar.

I shudder to think this could only be the beginning...

i would think that a couple who managed to stay together and enough in love for 8 years without sex is probably more qualified to be loving parents than the majority of frivolous fornicators out there..

my worry is.. once they find out about the woopidoo, will they still want kids.. =^^=

I think... that there would be many people in SL.... who would enjoy that immensely. The question is... how do the Lindens fair at emoting?

You know what's weird, I posted this on a different thread and it appeared here. I deleted it, reposted it elsewhere and now it's partly here again.

That was a good clinic.

Discovered and solved the problem right away!

Sounds like they will be excellent parents, too ~ they identified their problem and sought professional help as needed.

Was this a letter to the editor?
I question if a daily paper, even of SUN tabloid ilk, would publish a line like the last one in that article or use the word "retarded"

In any case, this has all the hallmarks of an urban legend (stupid but unidentified people, unlikely language used, anti-religious (or anti- any sort of contentious subject matter), untraceable.
Entertaining, but not to be taken at face value.

You know what, I have to agree to a point here 8 years is a long time and if sex is not a mainstay of their relationship they have to be on a level that none of us can understand..

I am curious what religion there is that do not allow sex...

also about the qualifications of being a parent based on this, there are I'm sure many couples out there that do not have sex and want children for one reason or the other, wheelchair bound and the like, still love is there and you do not need sex for a true higher level unconditional love..

But, I wonder with all the propaganda in advertising and media sources, how can 2 people in their 30's have no clue about it?? What kinds of parents allow their children to grow up and not have "the talk" with them....

I dunno. Very strange story.

(Im sure once they find out about the original sin they will be maaakl over the place, I hope they also tell them about birth control when they are educating them)

So?

Everything could be found to be offensive to someone. While the TOS mentions offensive in some situations, there is no right to never be offended - not in SL or in the forums or even in RL (at least not in the part of the RL world that I live in).
