I am new and am a basic member until I build my own system. I put $25US dollars on account from debt card. Then I tried to buy LindenDollars. Error said I already reached the monthly limit. I didn't even buy anyLinden dollars yet. Then I put $$10 on paypal but I still can not buy any Linden Dollars. I am sure the problem is simple but I searched everything in the "helpful" search base and can not figure out how to buy Linden Dollars.

because you initiated the transactions only today, you are still at a $0 allowable purchase. tomorrow it should begin to rise. you just need to be patient. good luck and have fun!

I have used SLX in the past to buy L$ and never had to jump through hoops. I found them very easy to work with and a very smooth transaction process.

All I meant is that you have to complete a few steps. I didn't mean it to imply that it is a pain in the ass; it's not. Just some required steps.

I have made a few alts and have learned some things about buying limits...I think.

(1) The spending limit at first (I believe the very first day) is 10 USD which gives you around 2570 Linden dollars. I'm not sure about this because it seems like the rule is always changing.

(2) Anshe Chung sims sell Linden dollars. Check what the Lindex will give you first, she usually equals or exceeds the amount per dollar compared to the Lindex.

(3) SLX (Second Life Exchange) www.slexchange.com A great alternative for shopping and buying Linden dollars. Just follow the instructions on the site. However, I believe they have implemented a new procedure where you must be 7 days old to buy Lindens from SLX. (SLX has always been the cheapest alternative. I usually buy 20 USD or 5,000 Lindens at a time. I save 3 USD's each time)

Don't forget to go to the main www.secondlife.com page and then to Account Info. You have to enter in your billing information (credit card). It usually takes like 5 minutes or less to recognize it. Then you can click that blue button in world and buy Linden dollars.
