The contract on the RFL sims ends on Tuesday so there is still time to go and explore the wonderful builds. They could disappear any time Tuesday but have at times in the past been up longer....we have no way of knowing when the Lindens will take them back. But we do know they will be here until Tuesday:)

We have had our most successful season ever...raising a record breaking $261,974.61! We had over 35 different countries represented in Second Life...it is important that we serve those affected by cancer not just in the United States, but around the world.

This year it really was a ONE WORLD, ONE HOPE Relay. We had over 125 teams, more than 2000 team members and the Teen Grid did their first RFL Relay!

Unlike RL...the fundraising is made by dollars and cents. If an Avie donated 1L or 10,000L...it all added up to an amount that has made the real world sit up and take notice.

There is no other Relay for Life such as Second Life...the real world does not have furrys, gors, tinies or communities from the 19th century:). They do not have team members represented from all over the world or that speak over 25 different languages. Relay for Life in Second Life has helped the WORLD to fight cancer....I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.

and Metropolis is a more than worthy entry, too

If I were rich, I'd buy out one of the Bay City sims and let the team drop much of that in.
