I'm getting another asset server issue; anyone else?
In this case, I can't delete anything from the sim. Every time I try, I get the "asset server did not respond in time, object returned to sim"
Bit of an annoyance, as I'm redoing several buildings right now, and need to get rid of the old chunks...
Edit: Can't save any new or updated scripts, either...

I dont know what the actual answer is.. I just know LLs response was at best...flaccid. That's a very good way to put it, and now I know why we still haven't seen the promised blog entry... ...the Lindens are still waiting for their shipment of Lie-agra to come in to firm up their flaccid reasoning. |

For the benefit of those who are new: for many of us Second Life doesn't work at all well. For many of us there are frequent problems with logging in, buying things and getting the things we buy, slow performance, crossing sim borders, teleporting, seeing gray textures all the time, saving and uploading scripts, loading your inventory for searching, having your avatar display correctly, and pretty much all aspects of Second Life, including the web site functions. The most reliable part of the system is the billing, the part that deducts money from your account.
So don't be surprised when these things continue to fail. Sometimes the key to satisfaction is to start with your expectations pre-lowered to the max. _____________________

strangly enough today I went to a few live music shows since maybe 5 slt? 3 of the 4 I went to have issues with streams.. loopy stuff.. then I make my way to a vampire sim. (oh cool i like vampires they taste like chicken) neway, my avatar started doing some weird stuff on her own. (her or its?) so. no surprise.. so my biggest gripe within the past 4 min was my beer would not rezz..
and frankly, I was seriously thinking about buying a sim, but now I wonder... hell will sl be here after my investment. |

Don't be mean! The Lindens are MENDING it, even as we speak. And they work so hard - they mended it yesterday, too, and the day before that, and the day before that, and the day before that.
And not only that, but they're going to bring us loads of really cool stuff too. So let's stop the whining - it's not THAT important to be able to rezz stuff, wear clothes, buy stuff, sell stuff, move, teleport or log in. After all, there's COOL STUFF on the way. Let's not forget our priorities here. _____________________
